We had a very nice stay at the BX Barn. The suite was larger that we imagined, and only 20min away from Sovereign Lake / Silverstar resort. We also really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen! Communication with Cynthia and Huw was very easy, and they were very responsive. Highly recommend!

This unique play is so amazing and awesome and so calm and quiet but only a short drive to anywhere in Vernon. The hosts were amazing. Will definitely stay again.

11 out of 10. That place I always wanted to wake up in and go to rest at night. Fresh air with a wonderful view. You get entertainment from the birds and be awestruck with the stars at night. We’ll definitely stay here again.

BX Barn was an amazing stay, with great views of the area. Huw and Cynthia were very responsive, and the drive into town was easy. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend BX Barn to friends and family.

The hosts were very quick to respond to the requests we had, which was much appreciated. The suite was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that you may need. We would have liked additional towels for our stay (4 nights) and more dishwashing detergent as we cooked every evening. We didn’t have a top sheet for the pullout coach which would have been nice. The overall layout and feel of the suite was perfect for our stay however, the cleaniness of the suite wasn’t at the highest standards. I rated it lower because of this but would have rated the suite a 4 if it was cleaner (shower in bedroom had mildew, kitchen cabinets needed a good clean (inside and out) and some of the dishes needed to be washed before using).

The BX Barn was a perfect place for a few days of skiing and relaxing. Beautiful views of the valley, mountains, and surrounding farmland. The barn was warm and cozy with everything we needed. Huw and Cynthia were perfect hosts checking in with us regularly without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this place. The location was convenient for Silver Star and close enough to town but secluded enough were it was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were attentive and great to communicate with. The place itself was true to pictures and had everything you could need for a few nights stay. Would highly recommend!
