The communication with the host was smooth and on time. Check-in and check-out process went just fine although we forgot to empty the dishwasher which was on the list. Sorry! Location is very nice and quiet, there are a lot of trees outside which we like. The actual apartment was cozy and clean but definitely due for renovations or at least some updates. Everything is working fine but you can tell this is an old building. I wouldn't call this an incredible guest house because we have been to incredible guest houses. It is a cozy cabin. The upstairs king suite is pretty nice, but it has no bathroom and you can only enter it from the outside staircase (icy stairs). Perhaps if our stay was in a summer time it wouldn't be such an inconvenience, but in a winter, going outside in a middle of the night to access the bathroom downstairs wasn't an option. We didn't use it. Another irritating thing were the beds in both bedrooms - those are canopy beds with a metal frame. Every time you move, those frames make enough noise to wake up the person sleeping next to you. Everyone complained in the morning about those. I liked the fireplace in a living room, which really warms up the space and creates a pleasant atmosphere at night after a whole day on the slopes.
