Situated in Sandy Point, this charming house for R 3,506 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Space: Wattle Haven is located very close to the beach in stunning Sandy Point. The long, sweeping beaches surrounding Sandy Point have breathtaking mountain views of Wilsons Promontory National Park. The beaches are perfect for surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. There is a patrolled section of the beach in summer. The house is a pet and family friendly beach house, perfectly located at the end of a quiet court. Wattle Haven is connected to the NBN with unlimited data and it’s a 5-minute walk to the beautiful foreshore, Ned Neale's Lookout and a year-round off-lead beach area for dogs. Only a 10-minute drive away, nestled between Waratah Bay and the majestic peaks of Wilsons Promontory, the sheltered waters of Shallow Inlet provide a peaceful setting for a range of water-based activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing and standup paddleboarding. Wattle Haven’s newly renovated kitchen opens onto a large open plan dining and living area, with a cosy woodfire and split system air conditioning system, making it a great getaway location all-year-round. The bathroom has a bath, basin and shower, a separate toilet off the laundry. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping a total of 9 people (option to sleep a 10 th person on a trundle bed). -Bedroom 1: sleeps 2 (1 x queen bed) -Bedroom 2: sleeps 5-6 (2 x single bunks, 1 x single bed, 1 x trundle bed) -Bedroom 3: sleeps 2 (1 x queen bed) Highlights: - A great base to explore the beauty of South Gippsland, including Wilsons Promontory National Park. - Grab one of our mountain bikes and ride the beautiful Roy Henderson Path to Shallow Inlet or explore the Great Southern Rail Trail. - Quiet end of court location, perfect for children to ride bikes safely and enjoy a game of cricket, away from traffic. - Well equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs: 4-zone induction cooktop, electric oven, pressure cooker, blender, electric hand mixer, microwave, espresso machine and grinder. Tea, oil, salt, pepper and spices are provided. - The garden offers a generous play space for children and is a calm retreat, filled with birdlife and the occasional visiting Koala, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. - Well behaved pets are welcome (please ensure you keep an eye on them as the property is not fenced). - 5-minute walk to the beautiful foreshore, Ned Neale's Lookout and a year-round off- lead beach area for dogs. Access to a patrolled section of the beach in summer. - While away the hours playing tennis at the Sandy Point tennis club or playing one of the many board games available. - Enjoy the smart TV, allowing you to login to your own streaming media services. - NBN with Unlimited Data. - Plan a visit to the cellar door at Gurneys Cidery or a tasting at Waratah Hills vineyard. The Neighborhood: Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 5-minute walk away near the general store. Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Lifesaving Club, Children's Playgrounds, Tennis courts and a half basketball court. Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin. Getting Around: Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquility of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point Store provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop. More details on the house facilities and things to do in the area are available in the welcome pack at the house and provided upon booking. Other Things to Note: Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control. Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems. Interaction with Guests: Our Real Estate office is located at 111 Beach Parade, Sandy Point, should you have any questions or concerns. The office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and we are available by appointment on weekends and public holidays. We have been coming to Sandy Point for over 20 years and this has been one of our most memorable stays. Wattle Haven is a gem, so comfortable, peaceful and every detail has been considered for a wonderful holiday. We were excited to have a visit one day from our 2 year old grand child - excited to have them experience the magic of Sandy Point, the accommodation at Wattle Haven is safe, warm and inviting for all ages.

The Trip was absolutely faveolus. House was really good and well maintained as well as well instructed. Although I have not received the security code to get key but the experience was really good. the Neighbours helped to get the security code. They are really helpful. Nice landscaping as well. Love to go back again for more days.
