Nice place. The restaurant isn't open for lunch, but I had some great fish one night for dinner. Staff very helpful.

Very nice place, staff very helpful and kind.

A beautiful, peaceful spot to relax and have drinks and food. Wi-Fi service brilliant, and room spotless, comfortable and above our expectations. Breakfast slightly limited and confusing, but overall Staff extremely friendly, and tasty food from the restaraunt.

Good property in Tonga with a great staff who communicated to us before and during our stay. It’s basic accommodations but they have a bar and restaurant and a five minute walk to town.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms could do with a refurbishment

Wonderful place to stay for us for a short visit. Comfortable accommodations. Restaurant on premise, and close to the wharf (short ride) for whale dives. Staff at hotel and restaurant were amazing!

i stayed here to relax before i go in to my whale swinging group. the staff is so nice and welcoming and will plan outings for you. i chose not to do an island tour. the rooms are immaculately clean. i got a wonderful massage to get the long flight kinks out. the woman was excellent. there’s no beach or pool here but the view of the water is nice.

Had to phone property manager when I arrived and he was a bit rude because I had only booked for one night which wasn't my fault as this is allowed on the website. The owner checked me in and he was polite. Room a bit of a musty smell..needs airing. Also would have been nice to have tea, coffee, milk supplies which is usual in other similar places Ive stayed

This cozy hotel and restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again

This was our home away from home for our week’s stay in Tonga whilst visiting our daughter. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Nothing seemed to be a bother and we felt relaxed and well looked after.

Continental breakfast was merely coffee, toast and jam which for the cost was atrocious. Apart from that a great stay and highly recommended, but avoid the continental breakfast !

CLEAN. NOTHING NEGATIVE.

Was in the kingdom for 4 nights. Spent 2 at Seaview. Seen the good ratings and price wasn’t too bad. Upon entry to property: there’s some confusion as to where the front desk is. Property is located on ocean front across street. Convenient location to downtown. Parking signs need to be better, parking can be confusing but u can park across street… on grass if full. Restaurant and customer service is above average in the kingdom.
The room was primarily clean. I felt at peace walking into the air conditioned room. However, the second day i came back, it was off. Anyhow, the room is above standard for any property i stayed at in the kingdom. Bed is super comfortable, i would stay again just for the bed and ocean view and a/c.
There was a dead roach underneath the table that I did not notice till the check out day. Roaches are everywhere in the kingdom, but this property does well to keep them under control. The bathroom setup is nice and tidy. The only complaint is the toilet seat was WOBBLY and I didn’t care to request maintenance because i was only there for two nights. If there is one thing this property can fix is their towels: I’ve stayed at hotels worldwide and have never seen or felt the used towels until this property, if you’re going to charge 200TOP or more a night, let’s give customers BLEACH clean WHITE TOWELS and AT least 2x/per room and also, HEAT DRY THE TOWELS, no one wants sun dried crisp towels. Anyhow, I will be back :) that’s all!

Very good location overlooking the sea. Excellent food, but continental breakfast just toast. Lunch and dinner choices are interesting. Staff are so helpful and pleasant and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable.

It was severely overpriced and mainly charges tourists a significant markup (both for the room and the restaurant). The shower door was not fully sealed, so there's always a puddle after the shower. We also caught a cockroach in the washroom on the second night. The room was nowhere close to soundproof. Every morning we were woken up by guests walking down the hall on the wooden floor. There was an issue with our satellite tv that the staff failed to rectify throughout our stay. It was only able to show 2 channels (1 was a religious program channel). We flagged it immediately on the first night and the staff tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. The next night, the non-religious channel lost the graphic. They gave us extra internet voucher codes but obviously that's not a good substitute.

It’s a genuinely nice place to stay for the money. I booked a standard room and they upgraded me to their own suite with a balcony looked out the Pacific Ocean. Thanks Seaview for a great room very beautiful and I had most unforgettable times here. Everything’s in this resort is very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly & helpful and very accommodating. Great location too near to everything.

Seaview Lodge is excellent. The caring and friendly staff is what makes it so special. The room in which I stayed was very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is good and offers a complementary continental breakfast, and it's possible to upgrade to some other options for a reasonable price. I hope to have the opportunity to stay at Seaview again. I totally enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was fine, but the service was exceptional. They treated us like family. We were there to care for a family member who had gotten ill. They did everything they could to accommodate us and make our stay pleasant.

Trying not to over-react. I stayed here for 2 nights, along with a co-worker. Reports are that this was formerly a very nice place to stay, excellent quality. That was not our experience. Staff are nice, but both our TVs had no signal; WIFI was good signal, but restricted by requiring you to get a 250MB voucher (free), which goes fast, given with an admonition to use for business (not personal). This is not a normal condition on Tonga anymore. Apparently, they still pay by the MB, but int'l travelers need fast and unlimited WIFI use guys. Our AC worked, but not strong. Small fridge OK. Beds large. Toilets large. Bath towels stiff & rough, but surprisingly other towels were nice (fix that please - tumble them). German cockroaches running around, but not many (always some bugs in islands). Shower OK. Not a luxury hotel, just OK; basic for int'l travelers. Free cont. brekkie is just toast & coffee/juice. Restaurant is pricey compared to others; didn't really try it out. Nearby dogs like to bark/fight much of the night; kept us up (should do something about that).

Stayed for a week for work purposes, so did not get to do the tourist things. Room was comfortable and deck area was lovely. Great TV reception and number of channels (for down time).

The room was nice, bed was good, bathroom was really nice. Room was abit small. View wasn't the best. Workers were abit rude. Wouldn't go back and stay purely on the customer service only.

The location is great, 2 blocks west of the palace, and away from the noise of downtown Nuku'alofa. Breakfast on the deck was gorgeous with the view of the islands offshore. The staff, especially Willie and Charles, is gracious and funny. WiFi was a hassle and dinners are disappointing. Good restaurants, like Little Italy, are nearby.

As in the name the hotel is situated right on the sea front within easy walk of the city centre. The one down side being there's no actual beach. The staff are really friendly and helpfull. The room was good with an enormous bed. Food in the restaurant is delicious and not over priced.

Food was very nice. The hot water system was a bit erratic at times. On the Sunday and public holiday Monday I was there the restaurant was closed; but there was no official notification of this with alternative suggestions, and one guest (not me) had no food all day.
