Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was a great size and had plenty of cookware, bowls, utensils and other kitchen tools. The location of “lakefront” was really about 30-40 yards away across a neighbors driveway. The pictures posted on VRBO were carefully selected so this was not apparent. The property needs a good scrubbing. Both main bathrooms had mold in the showers. The carpet throughout the home was stained and didn’t feel cleaned. The basement area was very musty. Please note the master bath is not up to standard measurements, people larger than 200 pounds may have issue, the opening to toilet area about 18 inches wide. The master shower door is hung backwards, so have to cram into the corner of shower to close the door. The high nightly rate does not reflect what you get staying at this property. In over 10 VRBO stays this one was our biggest disappointment. Changes can be made to improve it though or lower the price.
