A plush sectional and smart TV set the stage for casual downtime and streaming entertainment. The mighty full kitchen comes ready and equipped for home meal prep. The bad: Dirty sheets in the primary bedroom upon arrival, old, dilapidated and uncomfortable couch, termites in kitchen cabinets, never told about the new home construction next door (we booked a year prior and this info was not posted when we booked and we were not notified), broken coffee maker, not a smart TV so no streaming services available, the beds are very old with plywood underneath so quite uncomfortable, yard is un-tended and overgrown, the photos on the VRBO website and rental info book that is located at rental, are NOT updated. Images are very misleading as to the actual condition of the property. The good: Great location and nice layout. Also, Vacasa, the rental management company, really did their best (including giving us a 20% refund) to try to improve our stay and that is the ONLY reason I am giving this property 2 stars instead of 1. I would book with Vacasa again, but I would not recommend this particular property.

There was construction next door every day except Sunday from 7:30 am to 6 pm. This was not in the listing so I really couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space at all during the day, and had to leave to get away from the noise. I checked out early due due to this and Vacasa is ignoring me. When I checked in the bedsheets were dirty with chocolate on every layer, so Christmas Eve day, I spent washing and drying all the bedding and they did give me a credit for my cleaning and that’s it. In addition, I reported termites, and that the unit needed a deep clean, and they needed to remove the black mold as my guest who came for Christmas left a day early due to allergies. For the same price, I could’ve rented somewhere else and had a more enjoyable experience in key colony.
