It was clean
Very noisy bed…just turning over was very loud - not sure if it was the frame or the mattress.. Could hear M4 through the night. The plumbing noise from the room above us (we were room 21) was ridiculously loud! The ‘quiet gardens’ weren’t quiet when the leaf blower switched on at 8am on Bank Holiday Monday. Not a great night’s sleep really.

We had Sunday lunch at the hotel and it was amazing. We also had breakfast which was lovely, full English, toast, choice of cereals, yoghurts, juices and coffee.
The room was great and the bed was really comfortable

Amazing staff, fabulous breakfast, comfortable rooms, very clean.
Sleeping with the window open, you could hear road noise. Closed it was silent, but this took away the fresh air breeze.

Great staff, very clean and spacious. Excellent double glazing and sound-proofing from the constant traffic noise from the M4.
For the price of the room, compared to others in the area I expected more luxury, such as better quality toiletries and enough for 2 people, or bath robes, or slippers perhaps. A larger bed would have been good rather than a very creaky double, and better tea/coffee in the room - not just packets of instant nescafe and PG Tips. I also would have expected a separate shower rather than one over the bath. I don't understand what justified the price which was considerably more than other hotels in the area for a similar room.

The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . I was a solo traveller and felt safe and welcome .

Room and bathroom was spacious. Bathroom facilities were excellent.
Could have done with more milk as we had one drink before bed and there was only one milk for the morning as only 3 were left.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was ok a little tired and needed updating. Cleanliness was ok.
On the whole it was a good.
The duvet was to hot and heavy and pillows weren't good.

The meals are very nice and the breakfast was fine. The shower was also excellent.
A little expensive for very small room. I also felt like I was a disturbance to the other guests (neighbouring rooms), as the floor boards are creaking which make a lot of noise when walking round the room.

Excellent high quality breakfast, which had to be specified the previous evening in order that it was cooked fresh for the time we stated, also on the breakfast form. The breakfast room is an old dining/kitchen are set aside for guests with a long communal table. A great place to chat with fellow travellers and admire the pictures and fittings on display.
We had a special room with a 4 poster bed. Huge, with good wardrobe space for the 3 nights we were there as well as many drawers in various pieces of furniture. Excellent country views from the 3 windows. Well carpeted rooms and staircase,
Thanks to the 19th century architecture, the staircase is wide with shallow steps, ideal for carrying heavy suitcases up to the rooms.
The main reception hall has a fascinating selection of butter churns, invented by an ancestor of the family.
There are large areas of land around the manor, where the owners exercise their dogs. Unfortunately, we did not have time to explore the interesting and romantic remains of the first Manor House and Church, which were in the woods close to the river.
There is plenty of space for car parking next to the entrance to the Manor building.
The location of the manor makes it a secluded, quiet and relaxing place to stay.
The hosts provide a list of pubs and restaurants where an evening meal can be enjoyed. We particularly enjoyed liked the Bristol Trader pub in Haverford, where the welcome was delightful , even though we had reserved a table. We discovered a very wide range of cooked food styles, as well as an excellent real ale. The food was delicious and the serving staff friendly and very efficient in checking we had everything we wanted. There is outside seating as well as the 'booths' on the inside. it was such a great experience, we went again on the following night ( a Friday) and it was just as good.
The front door and porch are desperately in need of renovation. Our First impression of the place was of a rundown business, but the inside and our hosts raised our sprits.
As there are no evening meals at Manor Parc, a journey of 15 - 30 mutes is required to reach Haverfordwest or Pembroke. So phoning for a reservation is strongly recommended to avoid a wasted journey!
The 'road' to the Manor is unadopted, so is very lumpy and narrow .
The road from Uzmaston leading to the unadopted section has a good surface, but is also narrow and winding with trees obscuring the road ahead, so should be used slowly as local cars may suddenly appear around a bend.
The road to Uzmaston starts at a roundabout starts at the "Salutation Square Roundabout" with an easily overlooked exit. On 2 occasions we missed the turn and had to go round again!
