Cozy Riverfront A frame retreat

About this house rental

The PNW gateway to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, bird watching, swimming or just hanging out on our 170 foot beach. You can literally throw a stone into the river, from the living room door. It’s that close. The space I completely remodeled this home in 2020-21. Every room was gutted and redone by my 82 year old father. The bathroom floors are heated which are nice in the winter. There are numerous original artworks throughout the house. I want my home to be an experience for my guests. The yard is completely fenced with a driveway gate allowing entry with the remote control. Please do not park on the right hand side of the driveway, as thats where the septic drains are located. This is why there are rocks on that side of the driveway. 2 cars can be parked inside the gates of the driveway. The living room has a air conditioner/ heater unit which works amazingly well at heating and cooling the whole space. The leather sofa, in the living room, is a sleeper sofa from Pottery Barn. The furniture is from Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel. The house has carpets made by ruggable, so I am able to wash them regularly. The TV is large for the space at 65". The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, Vitamix blender, toaster, kettle, Keurig and many more items. There are many spices, coffees, teas and condiments for you to use. You can also grab some microwave popcorn and sit and enjoy some TV. Each guest stay will receive a pack of bacon, some local organic eggs, a bottle of wine and a bag of Hawaiian cookies. You will also have access to good shampoos, conditioners, body wash and luxury organic Eminence face wash in each bathroom. In the on suite bathroom is a tray of organic Eminence facial products for you to try. Each guest gets a new spatula to use. Make up remover pads are in the main bathroom cabinet. The dining room has a handmade walnut live edge custom table, that seats 6 people. Please use coasters and placemats on this beautiful piece of work. The 2 bedrooms have ridiculously comfortable queen beds, with drawers to unpack your clothing. Luxury sheets and bedding ensure your good night sleep. Most of the bedding is from Pottery Barn. Every room facing the back yard has a river view. I love listening to the birds and river running over the rocks each day. The main bathroom has a deep bath with a shower. The washer dryer is in this bathroom. There are pods to use in the washing machine. There are a generous amount of towels for your indoor use. There are separate towels for use on the beach and inflatable hot tub. The other bath room is ensuite in the main bedroom. It is a 47" deep soaking tub. I love to climb into this on a cold winters night. The internet is upgraded to a bigger newer modem and Xfinity pods. We now have 504 mbps. It is now available throughout the house. The entire property is landscaped with a gorgeous garden in the summer, as the hydrangeas come to life. The sprinklers start each day around 9am, to water the garden in the summer. Outdoors in the fully fenced back yard there is a dining area for 4 people. The other choice is to eat on the river on the adirondack chairs, or the 2 pool loungers on the beach, around the fire pit. There is also a hot tub outside the back door for your use. The propane grill is on the covered porch, that has another 4 adirondack chairs. Swim, fish, tan, kayak on the river. There is a gate to the river for access, and I require a signed consent if you to use this area. I have 2 kayaks for you to use on the river. I also have many floating tubes for you to enjoy using. If you are here in season, you may pick some organic veggies from my raised beds in the garden. Its also a great spot for star gazing as the Milky Way is above the house. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: CAMERAS: 1)There is a camera in the driveway. This protects your belongings, as much as it protects my property. 2)The camera in the entryway of the house is active between guests. Please unplug this camera as you walk in. This ensures your privacy once you unplug it. 3)There is also an active camera on the side of the house facing my tiny home. 4)The last camera faces the gate on the river. It is not active during your stay. I was burglarized before, and this is why I installed cameras to protect my property. I live in the tiny house in a separate fenced area on the property, with my 2 giant schnauzers. They may bark, but they will never bite. They are just giant goofballs. Throw them sticks into the River and they will be your best friends. The gardener is on the property once a week, all day long. This is typically on a Monday, but could be on another day of the week. The garden can’t take care of itself. He vacuums the hot tub and makes sure everything is in tip top shape. Guest access The loft area is off limits. It is my personal space. Thank you Other things to note The caretaker usually is around most Mondays taking care of the property, which includes taking care of the garden and cleaning the hot tub. The hot tub is an inflatable tub outside the living room door.
