While the home is within walking distance to the beach, multiple public parking lots offer beach access up and down the coast, making it easy to load up all your gear in the car and hit the sand in minutes. The expansive pool deck is surrounded by canopy coverage, offering some relief from the sun. The furnished patio includes a table for alfresco dining. The updated interior comes beautifully appointed for modern family comfort. A stylish coastal theme complements the home's beachside locale. A large leather sectional, comfortable armchairs, and a smart TV you can use with your own accounts welcome group gatherings in the main living area. Bean bag chairs and a second smart TV offer a breakaway entertainment space for younger guests. A dual-sided fireplace provides a toasty ambience for both living spaces. Gleaming counters and a sleek suite of stainless steel appliances will inspire culinary creations in the full kitchen. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Things to Know The private pool is open seasonally from the end of May - October 1st. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Unique floor plan surrounding the pool & courtyard area. The home's floor plan allowed our extended family private "wings" of the house but central living areas to gather together. The weather didn't agree 100%, but our nephews enjoyed the pool nonetheless.

We stayed at this beautiful house during the recent tropical storm that hit NC. The place has everything you need even if local retail stores are close due to bad weather. Power went out but that was out of their control.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Blue Lagoon. So much space inside and out, my girls are ready to book again for next year. Very family friendly, lovely kitchen for big family dinners and nice private pool. We did have a couple of minor issues upon check-in, AC, Shower Drain, wet floor. We contacted Vacasa and they had a very friendly maintenance man out within the hour. We would rent Blue Lagoon again without hesitation.

Online listing was great. Upon arrival, the rooftop had major debris and gutters were clogged. Nothing was done about this. The pool was very dirty and took 48 hrs to be cleaned. I spent 4 hrs cleaning it myself. Trip hazards located around the pool. Missing cover located at pool skimmer. Damaged pool trim. A sharp broken knofe was locwted at pool deck. Pool deck was very dirty. Crab shells and food was found at pool deck. Broken bedroom drawers, dryer took 3 rounds to dry clothing, master bedroom patio door sweep fell off, trash never picked up during our stay(9 people total creating waste) was very disturbing. There was also a large dead squirrel on the patio upon our areival that my 2 year old found. I remived it myself as it took 5 hours for maintenamce to show up. I was told the property was under new ownership and the owner was not aware of these issues that existed. I was in contact about this and many other issues during our stay. I was told someone woukd come out to resolve these issues which never happned. I was then told I would be credited or refunded and someone would reach out about this but no on has as of yet.
