ottimo albergo in posizione centrale

ottima posizione sia per visitare la città sia per le gite nelle vicinanze . C'e' anche un parking , convenzionato co l'albergo, nel caso di una una macchina a noleggio.

Location was excellent ✔️ Walkable to all the great spots ✔️ Comfortable beds and the shower was great✔️ Hot water worked just fine ✔️ Friendly staff and beautiful property✔️

This hotel has a great feel, with an inner courtyard to enjoy breakfast and drinks. Its in a great spot with an easy walk to all the sights. Plenty of bottled water is provided (seems a small thing but not all hotels in Mexico do and it makes a difference).

Great location, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Bathrooms were small - clean and fully functional, but small. Wifi signal in the rooms was spotty although it was great in the common area.

I served the purpose, and was very close to venues.

The location was great - we could walk to all the big markets.

Everything was cost plus...water, coffee, continental breakfast.

Not a bad hotel, but you can get unlucky with your room. Noisy from the foyer in the mornings.

The location here is great, right in the heart of Oaxaca city. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice and open, with good facilities. Air con was good.

We booked a balcony room and initially were put in a room with two beds, which made sense when we realised that the beds individually were too small for two adults to sleep in. The room also had no balcony, and no windows. After mentioning this, we were put in a better room with a balcony, but I feel this should have been honoured from the beginning, as we had specifically booked that. The foyer downstairs is echoey and loud from 7am onwards, meaning you can hear all the breakfast noise from early on. They also charged us for bottles of water in the room, despite no sign warning you of this!

Nice hotel with excellent location and helpful staff. Hot water fine

Breakfast was included and the fresh fruit with yoghurt good. The bedroom was spacious and always clean.

The room safe barely held our computers and sometimes it was hard to lock… The bread was the boring “wonder” white bread, and not at all up to the standard of the hotel. I ordered hot chocolate and it never arrived, though perhaps the morning staff are not enough to handle serving anything more than coffee? But it was a listed option on the daily menu so why shouldn’t one be able to order it? Especially in Oaxaca, the land of chocolate, it should be the pride of the hotel….

If you want a central location with a helpful staff, stay at Hotel Casona Oaxaca.

The location is totally excellent—only one block from the zocalo, the main square of Oaxaca. The hotel staff was quite helpful. They arranged several private tours with a delightful English-speaking driver to archeological sites and villages noted for their artisans. They translated for us when needed and recommended delicious restaurants. The hotel’s courtyard is the perfect location for breakfast; and in the evening it become a relaxing spot to chat with other guests, enjoy a drink, and plan the next day’s activities. The bartender makes the BEST margarita ever!

Since the hotel is so near the center of town, it does tend to be noisy until about eleven o’clock or so at night. That didn’t bother us much because the thick velvet drapes helped to block the noise. Also, one day there was a problem with the plumbing, but the situation was repaired while we were out that morning.

It is a great bang for your buck. Super well located near the zocalo, markets and museums. Staff was super helpful and polite. Next time I go to Oaxaca I will stay there again.
