THIS IS THE PERFERCT home for a family or friends getaway, to see and experience the best of what the South County area of RI has to offer, along with Newport, without breaking the bank! The nightly stays are less than a hotel however, offer the coziness of a home. Split the cost with friends. Do not pay thousands more for a house on, or within, 10 minutes of the water or a major beach, Don't follow the beaten path; save your hard earned money. This awesome home is located in South Kingstown RI, and is located 20-25 minutes from Newport, the Block Island ferry, Galilee (great charter fishing boats), and all the great beaches and restaurants in between. TF Green International Airport is a 30 minute drive to the house and the Kingston train station is 5 minute drive from the house. - GREAT for a day trip to Providence or Boston. This home is inviting with an open concept that can accomadate10 people easily without feeling you are on top of each other. It features 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with a laundry room. (Three bedrooms upstairs and two are downstairs.) It is located in a quiet neighborhood, less than 3/4 miles from URI. If you don't feel like cooking or dining out, hit the URI food court that offers a variety for take out or delivery. You can enjoy an evening at home cooking in the well-appointed kitchen or you may choose to grill your favorite foods on the spacious deck. The home was perfect for my family of 10 visiting for Navy OCS graduation in Newport. Took 30 min to get to and from Newport and the airport, so very convenient for us and our needs. Also went to Boston for the day - only 1.5 hours away. Full basement with livingroom, bathroom, and 2 beadrooms worked great for the part of my family with 2 small kids, while the upstairs dinning table, kitchen, and patio allowed all of us to visit together. Slept great the whole time we were there - beds are comfy! Host was very easy to work with and so helpful in every aspect. This is a good find and very reasonable for the beautiful area based on my research! Book it!

Went Fishing with friends and couldn’t ask for better accommodations. Steven is an excellent Host!!! He thought of everything!!!! We will definitely be back for all of our trips to this area!

Beautifully maintained and clean split-level ranch, enough space for the eight adults in our group. Owner was easy to contact with a couple of minor questions. All we needed was some basic groceries, and we were at home. Outside grounds and desks (two of them) well groomed and maintained. We definitely want to come back.

This place was perfect for my family of four which includes two teens. The place was super clean, and the kids loved having their own "place" on the lower level. Very convenient to beaches, BI ferry, and Newport. It's also just down the road from URI (we biked to it). Highly recommend.

Everything was great here for our jazz festival trip; more than enough space for us, and being close to URI means food is easily accessible. Only note is that the checkout time is somewhat early at 9am.

We had a fantastic time in this house! It was close to Newport and beaches and downtown Wakefield is adorable!
The house was so spacious, so clean and Steve had everything you could possibly need in the house including a welcome tray of snacks and wine! We definitely didn’t take nearly enough advantage of just hanging around this beautiful house and are hoping to book it next summer so we can enjoy the deck and the fire pit.

This was a great location and home! Very comfortable and plenty of space for a large group to stay. We were greeted with bottles of wine and a basket of snacks which was a nice surprise!

Had a great time staying in this apartment! Location was excellent and central and beautiful too! Away in the greenery to give you peace and quiet and still close to the freeways! Steve was very helpful and responsive! He even left us food and water as a welcome basket! Thank you!

Steve’s house was a very warm and inviting place to stay. It was a nice surprise to see a welcome basket with assorted snacks, along with bottles of wine, as well as bottles of water in the refrigerator upon arrival, which is a nice thing to have after a long trip to get here, and not have to rush out and shop for Munchies. The house has all the essentials you need to eat, drink, and cook. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We did need to do some laundry at one point, and detergent and dryer sheets were provided. The washing machine is coin op, but Steve starts you with a roll of quarters. The house location was perfect for our plans for sightseeing, and checking out local breweries, wineries, and distillers in Newport, Jamestown, Westerly, and South Kingston, as well as a few trips to the beach. Most of the drives to these places were 15-35 minutes with what I considered normal traffic. Overall, the girls enjoyed the stay at this home, and we are talking about booking this home again for next year.

My wife and I spent one week at this VRBO with our two adult children and their spouses (6 total). The space is in excellent shape, well stocked and extremely comfortable. Very quiet location. Everything was spotless and Steve couldn't have been more accommodating. The location is GREAT and within minutes to the very best that RI has to offer. Beaches are minutes away, Newport is 20 minutes away and although the local area had great offerings for eating out, we spent a few evenings dining in the Providence area (FEDERAL HILL!!! only 30 minutes away!). The RI restaurants are some of the best in all New England. Beautiful beaches are minutes away (several options). This is a great VRBO at a very reasonable price. If you are thinking of vacationing in RI, consider this VRBO a top contender. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Steve for a great stay and all of the support you provided us during our stay. Steve was a great host and very responsive to all of our communications regarding his home.
The home was clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. It was well stocked with all the essentials needed for the 10 of us to enjoy our family get together. We relaxed on the deck and the yard was very nice as well. The family is looking forward to reserving a spot here in the future. Highly recommend!
