When the urge strikes to be in the ocean, grab a towel and drive five minutes over to Hyams Beach—one of the most popular coastlines in Jervis Bay with the whitest sand—for a long morning of swimming and sunbaking. Rinse off the sand in the heated outdoor shower or either of two indoor bathrooms (the ensuite has a dual showerhead!) and stay inside comfortably in any kind of weather with air conditioning and a fireplace in the living room and relax in front of the TV with Netflix and DVDs at your fingertips. The backyard has enough room for a game of catch with your four-legged friends, and you can take a cosy nap in the shade on the outdoor lounges, or the hidden bench down the end of the garden is the perfect spot for a quiet read. When mealtimes come around, cook up a storm on the BBQ and dine inside in the light-filled bohemian interior or out on the deck with your tunes on the Bluetooth speaker, encircled by tropical trees that mirror the palm trees out the front in your own private oasis. Once you’re fed and rested, it’s time to see the sights; the entire area is beautiful and has plenty of walking tracks, and another beach every ten minutes as you walk around the basin. If there’s a fisher in the family, take the poles out to the jetty just down the road that enters Worrowing Waterway, or just dangle your feet in the water and resist the urge to push each other off! The house is large with lots of living and dining space, both inside and out. Everything we needed was supplied and the house was clean. The backyard is huge and we enjoyed watching birds in the large trees. The location is a short drive away from multiple Jervis Bay beaches, Booderee National Park and St Georges Basin (however this is not 'at the doorstep' as noted in the listing). We had a lovely holiday here.

We were very happy with our stay at Peaceful Palms. For a pet-friendly home it was extremely clean. We arrived late and the home was extremely welcoming, the a/c was on, the lamps were on, we appreciated this extra detail. A very comfortable and well appointed home, 5-mins. drive from Hyams beach. Our chocolate lab loved loved his holiday in the garden!

My partner and I spent 5 days at Peaceful Palms. We immediately felt at home, the house was clean and tidy and was equipped with everything we needed and more ! There is something so relaxing about this place. My cat and dog felt comfortable from the get-go and had fun exploring the secure and lush gardens. This is a gem of a home.

Second time around in Erowal Bay Palms holiday house and it didn't disappoint. Spacious, well-appointed, huge yard and pet friendly - it really is a wonderful house to enjoy a hassle free break. Owners lovely to deal with too.

We stayed for 4 nights with our children and friends and wish we had booked a longer stay. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. The lounge and beds were very comfortable and the house was lovely and spacious. Trish was very accommodating and promptly responded to any queries we had. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at Erowal Bay! The house is spacious, clean, comfortable beds x4, very well stocked kitchen, great hot water system, large comfy couch, great veranda to relax, quiet, 2 mins from the general store. Definitely recommend!

I stayed with a few friends (and a border collie) here for a week and had a great time. House was very clean and well spaced out with excellent rumpus/lounge room and big decks for entertaining. Enough spare to wnjoy some wine and cheese with friends, or escape somewhere quiet to read, or nap in the afternoon sun, We really appreciated the wood fire keeping us toasty (though we had to pick up more kindling). The town of Erowal itself is very quiet, but is 10 minutes (by car) from all the major beaches. The little corner store sells basics but Woolies and Coles is not too far away if required. The location is central to lots of "things to do" in the Jervis Bay area. We did lots walks at beaches and through the national parks around Huskisson, Vincentia, Boodaree and even got to Bendalong and Milton pretty quickly. Only small things are I would recommend bringing some decent frypans (if you don't want to cook on the BBQ which is excellent) and a sharp knife or two, just to make prep that bit easier.

A very comfortable house with everything you require. It was a wet start after weeks of rain so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely garden as much as we would have otherwise but the house didn't feel crowded even with 6 adults and greyhounds. The large lounge accommodated all the humans while there was enough floor space for multiple dog beds. We used the wood fire and it made the house very cozy. The outdoor area was beautiful if underutilized during our stay. The bedrooms were a little tight with dog beds in but we managed and with nice fresh linen they were lovely. The mattresses are on the firm side but comfortable. Fantastic water pressure in the showers. The street is quiet and we saw a couple of kangaroos on our walks although there are no footpaths so we had to walk on the road. The General Store is just down the end of the street while supermarkets are only 5 min drive away. If you are after a quiet, well appointed place with a nice back yard for a relaxing time away then this is the rental for you.

Our stay at The Palms was so relaxing... very comfortable and neat home with a great open area from dining room to lounge room with the largest and most comfortable lounge we have ever seen....lots of spots to relax...we enjoyed the day bed and used the BBQ and outdoor setting when weather allowed...great backyard for dogs too...Trisha (host) was very friendly and helpful...we also found the suburb and street to be quiet and not that far away from busy Husky...totally recommend The Palms for that family holiday.

Very impressed with our choice of property to spend a family Christmas. We had everything we needed and the posting on the website was spot on. Our two dogs loved exploring the backyard and had a great break as well. Great and responsive support from the Trish in checking providing information about the local fire conditions and ensuring that we were prepared for the changing situation. Overall, highly recommended - a complete package.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary with our 2 sons, their partners and 3 dogs. We all loved the spaciousness, the home comforts and the large, safe enclosed garden for the dogs. We were all able to relax and chill out together. Thanks Trish for providing a wonderful home away from home. Would love to do it again in the near future.

Had a lovely stay at The Palms. The house is big with a good sized deck and backyard. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Communication was good and the house was clean and tidy and in good nick. Erowal is a short drive to Jervis Bay and worked well for us.

Great break. Next time will be a longer stay. Make sure bottom bed sheets and towels have been requested, ours were missing. Don't let that put you off. Older rescue dog just loved the big back yard. Thank you.

Great location just a 5 min drive to hyams beach or the national park. 10 Mins to huskisson. Great backyard for dogs to stay in. Big place with modern furniture and everything you could think of! All toiletries left for us, tea, coffee, washing mashine and dryer, tv with DVDS, book shelf. Couldnt ask for more, thank you for the cholates!!
