Beautiful oasis on a roadtrip

It was a beautiful and colorful retreat during our drive. The lobby has plenty of different seating arrangements, and is welcoming and functional. The gym was clean and well-equipped. My family and I can’t wait to go back there.

Works well for location right off 95.

Convenient location. Nice pool table in lobby. Excellent gym.

Rooms were smallish. Mold around the bottom of the shower. The soap dispensers are hard for older people to use. To hard to squeeze. The breakfast buffet was not as good as some of the other hotels we stayed at during this trip.

Great stay—convenient location, good food nearby, and loved the movable desk.

Breakfast was fine. Enjoyed the granola and yogurt. I loved having a desk that could be moved around. It allowed me to work on my computer without bothering my husband who was trying to sleep.

The automatic blinds could have worked better. Previously someone had managed to jam up the blackout curtain. Seems like the apparatus may have messed up. We had to work hard to get the blackout curtain unjammed.

Pretty good

No carpet was nice, room was overall clean. Breakfast was great

The floor in the room needed a mopping it was swept clean but made my son's feet black with dirt.

We had a good night’s sleep. Our stay was a pleasure.

This trip was our first experience with Tru hotels. We stayed at 3 during our trip. The mattresses were so comfortable that we ordered a king sized one for our own bedroom. At this location, and the other locations, the room layout was spacious and lacking in clutter. Rooms have numerous USB ports for electronics. The baths, ours were handicapped accessible, are well designed and have plentiful grab bars. The breakfast bar is excellent. Common areas are nicely appointed with games for all ages to enjoy. We have recommended Tru to friends.

Will stay at Tru hotels again, but the company has room for improvement.

Nice decor. Wall hooks were helpful.

Room floor and mirror were dirty. Shower leaked onto floor outside shower door. All staff we encountered were not friendly.

Great facility Terrible Beds!

Breakfast was amazing, staff was great a bit young though, lobby was fantastic with great after hours snack store and entertainment.

Bed was terrible... Hard as a rock, VERY uncomfortable sleeping. The entire reason for staying at a hotel is to get a good night sleep during your travels not to toss and turn all night due to lack of comfort. Your hotel got absolutely everything else perfect except the most important part...the bed. Also if you are going to stick with such a young staff please teach them about local restaurants so they can properly direct guests to food and entertainment in the area.

Clean and friendly staff but unruly guest.

The cleanliness

At 12 midnight people above us on 3rd floor started making horrible noise. We called the desk and still it continued, we ended up calling again and they promised to address it but it continued till 2am. This was totally unacceptable . We needed sleep to drive many hours the next day. A miserable night.

The public areas are modern and inviting, but the guest rooms while very clean are very sparse,

Breakfast was fine; great pancake maker. Only stayed one night on our way to destination. Friendly staff and warmer than the room decor.

The guest rooms may take a little getting used to. They are very austere, but I liked no carpeting.

Will stay here again on our trips to and from Florida every year. Great place to stay. Very modern and clean.

Staff was extremely helpful with our stay, after booking.com failed to do their job and confirm the reservation we paid to booking.com online. We arrived at the hotel and an hour and 10 minutes had gone by and the hotel had still not received communication from booking .com. We had just been driving 10 hours and were very tired. We finally paid for our stay directly to the hotel and decided to try to work out the issue we were having with booking.com the next morning. Many conversations back and forth and booking .com is adamant that they confirmed our reservation even though the manager at the hotel kept checking for communication from booking.com and It has been 2 days and I still never received that confirmation email from booking.com. After complaining and telling booking.com I was going to write a review explaining our situation, they offered us a $25 refund. I will never use booking.com again. I will only book reservations directly with the hotels.

Overall great for our needs,

Pancake maker was cool. Omelettes were good. Staff was mostly friendly.

Pancake mix kept running out and there was no cream for coffee.
