Very good

Anemona Beach Hotel is family run, the staff and facilities are great. It also has very convenient location with steps leading to the sea - an absolute pleasure.

Some rooms have sea view slightly abstracted. The bar/restaurant could do with more food selection. There is some noise coming from the main road at night. Other that that the hotel is great.

Koula was the best of hosts and took very good care of the whole party.

This is a great property! Out of the way from the big hustle of Laganas and Zante Town.

We had older travelers with us and it was a bit difficult to trudge up and down the hill with canes, not an issue for able body individuals.

Peaceful relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, well furnished and the view from the balcony is wonderful. Couple of short steps into the sea from the garden, ideal for those of us who prefer sea swimming to a pool. Quiet laid back atmosphere and a stylish terrace bar with amazing views.

The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the bars and restaurants of Argassi which is fine , however the stretch of road closest to the hotel has no pavements and you need to be really careful when the road is busy.

The most lovely place I’he ever been

The staff was the best I have ever seen. They were very helpful! I am 6 Month pregnant and they were just in every moment there for us to fullfill all my wishes and needs!

Relaxing stay, Nice hotel, Amazing view and Lovely staff

The best thing about this hotel is the view and the position! right in front of the sea with a nice garden with umbrellas and sunbeds with direct access to the sea. Amazing, so relaxing. The rooms were big, nice balcony with a lanyard to let your towels dry. Nice terrace for breakfast and snack and cocktail bar. You could order drinks and food directly from the sunbeds or from your room. Staff is nice and very helpful, no stress. Parking is available for free. The only reason why I wouldn't give the maximum score is that breakfast could be a little bit better in terms of variety and quality but other than that was all perfect and I can't believe this is just a 2 start hotel. I would have given 3! I would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast could be better and could include one hot drink from the bar.

Overpriced with rude manager

It was clean with daily housekeeping even if they came in regardless of the signed outside "do you not disturb". Nice kept grad on the waterfront.

Terrible customer service with manager rude and aggressive with bad attitude. The room was large but had three beds which made it overloaded, and with two beds next to each other with one being taller than the other, it made it very uncomfortable. There is no beach but, just front water with sunbeds. The view from my room was covered by the shade, so not such a great one. Overall very disappointed, and because the manager was rude, my stay was very very uncomfortable. I chose to get breakfast included in the room, and it was basic and with old food and rotten apples which forced me to go elsewhere for breakfast. The staff would sit at tables where on the terrace smoking and felt uncomfortable. This place has superb reviews on booking.com, and I trusted them; however, after the incident with the manager, I went on the internet, and there is a different opinion from people whose reviews were probably never posted on booking.com. Everyone mentioned similar feedback to what I am giving. For me, I can deal with basic accommodation, which is expensive, but when the customer service is terrible, that's a no-no.

The staff went out of their way to assist with all our enquiries and make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel's position on the water gave us a fabulous view onto the water and town of Zante.

AMAZING

The location was fabulous - right on seafront with direct access into sea. 5 minute walk to nearest supermarket & bars & restaurants. The staff at Anemona were all wonderful, very attentive, friendly & helpful.

Don't book before you have checked google maps

Room was decent and clean. They changed sheets and towels and cleaned every day. Sea view was nice and garden was well maintained.

We booked a room with sea view on the top floor. This was a terrible mistake because these rooms have entrance from the main road which is one of the busiest roads on the island. Our first night was a nightmare as it felt we were on the highway and could not sleep all night. Early in the morning we requested a room change because otherwise we would leave the hotel. They notified us that we should wait till noon so they clean a room from the ground floor. They moved us at about 12:30 and we spent the rest of the day sleeping. We were lucky this room was freed on the same day otherwise there was a risk we lose our money and look for other hotel. What made a bad impression is the fact that they told us we should have checked google maps before booking which was a joke. You book a room with sea view so you cannot know from google maps that it's noisy like a highway. Bonus: We counted 20+ rooms but only 10 parking lots. We had no problems with parking but one would be worried if hotel was full.

Our happy place

Every room has a sea view, a proper sea view with no obstacles. Sitting on the balcony listening to the waves lap on the shore. The hotel is family run and everyone goes the extra mile to ensure you have a perfect stay.

Absolutely great place we will always want to come back to.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Anemona. The staff were very friendly and allowed us into the room before official check-in. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view, cleaned daily. The bar served great drinks and quick bites. The location was perfect for us - next to really good restaurants, close to the town centre, but still quiet and right at the seaside. Great value for money as well. Can't wait to come back to Anemona next year!

Great hospitality, warm welcome friendly staff eager to help with any request. Spacious and clean room Amazing location - very close to city of Zakynthos, perfect spot to discover the island beauties Nice beach just a step from the hotel garden, with free to use sunbeds

Nothing too bothering. I think a bit pricey for a 2 star hotel but taking into account the period and the average prices of b&b in Zakynthos I would say its fair. A bit stiff bed-pillows (its subjective obviously) and old coarse but clean towels

Best location to stay in Zante!

Best location to stay in Zante! Close to all best beaches and a few steps from very good restaurants. Very cosy and beautiful cortner in Agrassi. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Beautifull view from the room. The sea also very nice near hotel - sandy cost, clear water. Highly recomended this hotel!

Lovely stay with the best location!

We arrived earlier because of the flight but they still welcomed us with fresh cold drinks and kindness. The view from our balcony was breath taking. Thank you for everything!
