The owners of this apartment were so attentive before our stay and during the check in process. They were very responsive to our questions via What's App and met us personally for us to check in. The apartment is in an older building, but the apartment itself seems to be refurbished and updated. The owners thought of every detail we could need: soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc., which was a pleasant change from other properties where we have stayed. There are king sized beds in each room and all were very comfortable with blackout liners that allowed us to sleep in. The two penthouse balconies provided an amazing view of the city and were perfect for us to have our coffee in the morning. The kitchen is unusually spacious and came fully furnished with pots and pans, a coffee maker, and a toaster oven. The hot water was a little finicky, but if you turn the dial all the way to high and then all the way to low, that seemed to fix the problem. The master bath is a bit of tight squeeze, but that is not at all uncommon for apartments in Bogota. This is in a safe, middle class neighborhood in Bogota and we felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood with our kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future!
