Excellent hosts, clear and timely communication (but not overbearing). Cottage is beautiful inside and out, boat dock in good condition and easy to tie up. Already planning on a return trip!

The cabin was very clean and perfectly furnished and stocked. The color makes it very easy to spot from the water which is a benefit both for those who know the chain of lakes and those who are unfamiliar. The owner checked in on us by text to be sure we were all set, which was awesome, but we needed nothing and had no issues. I would not hesitate to book this again. Thank you!

Beautiful, clean cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lakefront area is relaxing and great lake for kayaking and watching boaters go by.

Beautiful little cabin right on the lake. Great for fishing and perfect location for golf! Kathy is a great host! Would recommend to anyone that wants a perfect little getaway right on a beautiful lake

I would highly recommend this property. It was clean and very well stocked. The sunsets over the lake were gorgeous. Host very responsive and checkin/out we’re both very easy.

Nice cabin on scenic lake. Enjoyed paddle boarding, fishing, camp fires and bbq. Very relaxing and easy stay.

Beautiful lake front property with spectacular views! My daughter and I stayed here for four days. The owner was super helpful and responsive, the cottage was clean and the views of the lake incredible. We kayaked and enjoyed a glorious sunset. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us.

We were so lucky to find this place. My wife and I were looking for a quiet, cozy place with great amenities on a lake. We wanted to relax and enjoy some kayaking, fishing and amazing sunsets.
The Red Cottage was it!
The lake and town were great and the hosts were very attentive. They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit.

This was our first visit to the north chain of lakes in Coldwater, MI and "The Red Cottage" was a great introduction! The house was charming, very clean, well appointed with everything we needed and provided stunning views of the sunset each night. If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax at a reasonable price the Red Cottage fits the bill!
