Our Treetop retreat is across the road from Koala Beach play park, making it a perfect, safe place for kids. Part of the well known Koala Beach community in Pottsville. This nature reserve is fiercely protected and no dogs or cats are allowed in the area. Although set back from the main high street of Pottsville, you are only a short 3 minute drive from the pristine beaches, shops & restaurants. Famous Cudgera creek & Hastings Point is only a 5 minute drive and the Gold Coast can be reached in 30 mins. Recommendations - A quick take away coffee or sit down breakfast at Pottsville Bake House, The Palm or Black drop cafe, - Not to be missed, wine and dine at the very newly built Pipit Restaurant, reviews are wonderful, be sure to book! - Fancy a night in? Plenty of options close by - Potty Mouth Pizza, Izakaya Potts or Pottsville Indian Hut. - If you are feeling up for it, just up the road in quaint Cabarita Beach hosts the very popular and famous Paper Daisy Restaurant at Halcyon House or Husk Distilleries in Tumbulgum for an afternoon cocktail (20 minutes away). - Beaches/Creeks - Pottsville Beach or Mooball Creek - Cudgen Creek (Kingscliff Creek) - Hastings Creek - World famous surf beach, Cabarita Beach Headland -If you like to cycle, head down the beach at low tide all the way down to the coastal village of South Golden & New Brighton beaches.
