The place was clean and welcoming. Although, my husband and I ended up get sick along with our grand baby, all at the same time which was the second day that we were there. We suspected maybe mold? We noticed a pungent smell the moment we walked in the door but thought maybe it was because the cabin closed up for a long period of time. But overall our stay was quiet and relaxing outside of being sick.

Great little cabin on the Tuskegee River the cabin and property was great. There is a few things that could have been addressed maybe a proper grill, Plus I don't care for how many times your emailed and text messaged through the managing company of this property that is the only downfall before and during my stay was at least messaged 20 times 25 times but other than that great place

Great location, very comfortable cabin on the river. We stayed 2 nights while visiting our son, and then stayed another 2 nights a week later!

Me and my family enjoyed our stay simply because it gave us time away. We rented this home based on a few advertising factors. It was water front for us to enjoy the river with our children, it had a private yard again to enjoy time with our kids, and it was equipped with a gas grill ready to use etc. Unfortunately these things turned out to be not so good. The grill was hooked up to an empty gas tank, we was literally beginning to cook breakfast on it and gas ran out. Had we known we would have not counted on this. The big private yard is anything but private. My family literally couldn’t set or play in the yard without random people walking through the “private yard” then the river frontage to enjoy fishing and time with the kids was an absolute nightmare. The towns kayak launch is directly across the river and they would not direct around me and my family trying to fish and play in the water! We had to stop fishing and swimming every day because they would and actually did run over top of you and not because the kayaks was losing control in the water but because they didn’t care. We had to give up our private riverside fun because they would float up to our little riverfront section and just set there with there kayaks on the section we rented! You can’t stop people from enjoying the water but I would think you could stop them from coming onto the property. We had to move our chairs off our rented section of river frontage for all of them. And let me say it was all day every day which really wasn’t cool. My boys and daughter was disappointed that they couldn’t fish or play . The house itself was ok. But the main a/c wasn’t working so there was window units installed which kept it nice in the late afternoon but in the middle of the day it was warm. I would love to ask for a partial refund but I knows this will only cause problems which is not what I’m about.
