Hieno kaupunki. Hotellilla hyvä sijainti. Käytös ja omistajien käyttäytyminen ja välinpitämättömyys , hävytöntä !

Iso avara tyylikäs huone

Avain ei ollut paikallaan vaan piti soitella ja odottaa että joku sen toi. Soffa piti olla toinen vuode toiselle pariskunnalle. Yksi tyyny, ei lakanaa. Sitä pyydettiin jo ensimmäisenä iltana mutta sitä ei koskaan saatu vaikka yövyttiin kaksi yötä. Perään uhkailtiin että tulee 200 punnan maksu kun ei olla jätetty avainta ??? Jätimme sen 5.20 aamulla lokeroon kolme jossa se olisi pitänyt olla myös saapuessamme. Surkein asunto koko matkallamme koska meille ei edes vastattu tai tuotu yöpymisvälineitä. Sitten vielä uhkailut sakoista …. Varokaa kyseistä paikkaa . Jäi tosi paha mieli !!!

Great place for family with kids

Located by tram line and food options. Owner was helpful and responsive to inquiries.

Parking was a little tedious but there are free parking options nearby.

Lovely place to stay, well located and in the tram line into Edinburgh

Lovely furnishings and decor.

All very good. Toilet door handle came off, but that was the only minor thing.

Great location, great facilities but inadequate heating

Location and facilities where perfect for us

I realise we had a cold snap but there’s no way the property was auto timed for heating - when we arrived it was colder inside then outside. Hit the boost for heating but with only one radiator it took from 1600-2000 to warm up to a sensible temperature. Perhaps a small space heater or something would speed this up.

Nice flat but parking was an issue.

Nice and clean, a lot of thing on kitchen to make cooking comfortable.

A bit noisy to open the windows at night: seagulls, music in neighbouring houses, the tram. Pillows themselves are very uncomfortable. Difficult to find parking around the property, almost not possible.

Amazing, wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Clean and spacious - perfect for the family of 5 (and a little dog). Separate amazing thing was availability of dishwasher capsules and washing capsules (usually you have to buy an entire package and either leave it or waste it). Really warm apartment, which is not a standard for Scotland.

Perfect

Such a clean spacious property would defo come back hosts were lovely and right on the other end of the phone if you needed them

One down side was no shower in 2 bed apartment but the shower hose done the trick

Great location with amazing local businesses and really lovely flats

Amazing location, really nicely decorated and clean Neil gave us some recommendations for food and drinks nearby and the steakhouse over the road blew us away. Wil be returning next time we're in Edinburgh for sure

Really disappointing customer service due to facilities in the flat not working . Compensation was agreed but never paid

The property was lovely but the facilities didn’t work - the cooker didn’t work which forced us to have a take away and the heating didn’t work either

In addition to the cooker not working, there was a leek in the radiators so there was no heating.we had to sit in our coats! There was hot water . As a result the property was really cold. I mentioned this to the staff. He said that they would refund some money but they never did which is really disappointing as this could be a property that I would stay in on another occasion however, due to the poor customer service, I would not recommend or stay there again.

Ganz ok

Die Unterkunft ist hübsch eingerichtet. Die Lage um Laith zu erkunden optimal. Das Personal freundlich und bei Problemen lösen sie diese schnell. Die Wohnung ist gut zu erreichen, mit der Tram ist man in ca 25 Minuten in der Stadt. Für Max 3 Personen würde ich es empfehlen.

Das Schlafsofa ist nicht für zwei Personen zwingend ausgelegt 120 cm breit und durch das Design vom Sofa schläft man sehr unbequem, da man die Wölbungen im Rücken hat. Da sollte eine andere Lösung her, wenn es für 4 Personen vermietet wird. Es könnte sauberer sein, da stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältniss nicht.

I will be back

Leith is one of my favourite parts of Edinburgh - the food, the cocktails and just getting lost wandering the streets! The flat was amazing - comfy bed, claw foot tub in the bathroom, beautiful decor through out. The well stocked kitchen had everything needed to make a meal if we had wanted to cook in. There is a tram stop within a 100 m to whisk you away into town. It was just lovely! I will definitely recommend to all my friends

Unpleasant and basic accommodation standards not met.

Convenient & interesting location.

I booked this property for a business trip to Edinburgh and arrived on 17/9 in the late afternoon to find out that the boiler was not working and the apartment was cold. I contacted the manager of the property who asked me to open a DUSTY boiler cupboard and press buttons on the thermostat and the boiler, also asked me to locate the water valve - not easily accessible at all. Finally and feeling uncomfortable, I asked if somebody could come round and have a look. Someone has indeed turned up and the boiler started working, yet, it took a few hours for the temperature in the apartment to feel comfortable. The radiator became cold again overnight and the room temperature was cold on getting up in the morning. The bathroom ceiling window was also leaking from the rain - video available - and I wasn’t able to have a shower in the morning. I contacted the manager and said that I didn’t wish to extend my stay into the second night, as originally booked. I had a deteriorating cough after going in the apartment the previous day and the standards of my stay have been far from basic or even professional. With open plug boxes & cut/ exposed cables at higher level, I would think that this is not a rentable property. I would therefore like to request a full refund beyond the agreed partial refund which yet hasn’t materialised. Thank you for your understanding.

None of what we paid for and terrible customer service

The location is convenient for visiting Leith.

There was no functioning lighting besides the very bright spotlights on the ceiling. The lights by the bed but had to be charged via a USB like a phone. This wouldn’t have been ok even if they had worked properly or the property had mentioned this. At no point during our stay was there enough hot water to run a bath. Booked the place to have somewhere to relax after a day going around Edinburgh and Leith. Because of the above this wasn’t what we got. The customer service during and after my stay was consistently awful and snobbish. The two guys who run it initially agreed that the above issues aren’t acceptable for a property in this price range. Later they started claiming I’d been rude to one of them without ever clarifying when or how. They filed then immediately withdrew a complaint against me, all the while still offering a negligible refund. A strange and unpleasant experience which could have been resolved easily and amicably.

I did like the property, it was clearly newly renovated but still had a few snags to be put right however this didn’t spoil our stay and when all the works completed it’ll be a fab set of apparents

Loved the apartment

The apartment itself was brilliant .. I slept on the sofa bed it was king size and the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve slept in ..everything was brand new and exceptional..a mirror in the bathroom would of been a bonus

No parking .. this was a bummer we had to walk 2 miles to park our car there was a tram but we didn’t use it ..also instructions on how to use oven hub and washer dryer

A stay to never forget

The housekeeper was incredibly nice. He came by personally to answer all of our questions and seriously listened to our suggestions and helped us with any problems we had. Thank you very much for that! it made us feel very appreciated and seen.

The apartment is still quite new, so there were a few small things that we noticed could get some extra attention. The housekeeper payed attention to each and everyone of them and acted te correct all of them as soon as possible.

Passable

Location was good; tram station and bus stops, super markets, cafe, pub and restaurants are close by. Design of each room was excellent. Beds were comfortable. When requested, hair dryer and laundry rack were delivered quickly.

Bathroom floor did not look clean due to a lots of marks and stains of the floor tiles. One of the bed rooms could be two single beds so that it is more family friendly. The room key in the box was not right key. Washing machine (it seemed that water pipe and machine is not connected correctly) and toaster did not work. Response time from the host via email or message was not timely. This is important as a lot of international travellers may prefer not calling the local number due to high charges.
