This was a get away with our 3 adult kids and their families. Our plan was to do few things away from the cabin but it was so comfortable, we spent the whole time at the cabin or messing around on the lake. The kids loved the bunk beds in the basement! The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions as soon as they were sent. The size of the cabin when you drive up might be deceiving but it's much bigger than it looks. During warmer weather, the porch will be another great space to hang out in. Wish we could have stayed longer, we would definitely recommend (and already have) this property to others.

What a beautiful home!!!!! We couldn’t have been more impressed by the upscale furnishings, comfortable bedding and truly perfectly appointed kitchen. Our whole group had an incredible time and I assure you - there is NOTHING missed here!! The neighbors were close, but this area isn’t meant for seclusion. Thank you for hosting us Renee and Matt!

We had a great time at the cottage. Everyone had space and a bathroom for themselves. The kitchen had nice pots and pans to use. We lucked out with some fresh snow and enjoyed being able to go fat biking.

This home was perfect in everyway. The architecture, craftsmanship, and decor are amazing. Everything was first class. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there is a newer, large Weber gas grill on the side of the house. We easily hosted two dinners for eight guests with no problems. The beds, linens, and bath towels were great quality. To our surprise, the house was fully stocked with paper products and cleaning products, which we have always had to provide for other rentals in the past. The layout of the house was great for our group. The oldest member had the convenience of a first floor bedroom with a bath outside the door. And the youngest member had the privacy of the family room and bunk room in the basement. There is a ton of space, with four generously sized bedrooms and four bathrooms. The owners promptly responded to all of our questions, and the Wi Fi was strong enough for my husband and I to work while we were there. Finally, the views of the lake and the stars at night were delightful. Again, it was perfect in every way!

We LOVED this property! Had everything that we needed and then some for our weekend ip north. Communication with the owner was easy and the cottage itself was stunning. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cabin/cottage to accommodate larger groups in the Crosslake area!

We could not have asked for a better place to spend our fall break with our combined families (4 adults/3 kids) The craftsmanship and amenities make you feel at home- the fully stocked kitchen, the space for everyone to feel cozy and relaxed, and the firewood ready for a bonfire. The pictures really do not give it justice but is a great depiction of the home. The lake views from any spot in the house allowed us to take in the peaking fall leaves. Cooking was enjoyable knowing we had everything we needed to make our meals. Located within 10 mins of Crosslake and not far from surrounding Whitefish Chain of Lakes towns full of shops and restaurants
Matt and Renae were great hosts and easy to communicate with. The thought and detail put into this home has surpassed any vacation rental we have experienced! We look forward to coming back to Pinecone Cottage in the near future!
