The view was great, the staff was friendly and did the best they could however..

The room was really bad. 40 musquitos (!) in the room, walls are dirty and did not get new paint for long while, tv was taped. Bright tl light. No windows. Breakfast was very mediocre compared to all other Laos hotel I visited. You have to pass a dark alley to get there; I would not recommend evening arrival for first time.

This is a tough review to write. The rooms are sparse with no windows. The bungalows have windows that don’t lock and much of the hotel is under construction or in disrepair. There is no pool but one is being built. The place has so much potential and for the price we were happy — This is a very special place, but needs so much work — the location is amazing! Wake up every morning to the most spectacular views of the peaks! Hot air balloons land in the nearby fields every evening! You feel like you are mikes away from the dirty, noisy center of town, but It is only a 5 minute walk into town. The resort is on the other side of the river from town providing quiet and open space for kids to play. Don’t let google maps convince you it’s too far from town — there is a footbridge across the river that Google doesn’t know about. Sophia, the manager, is so kind and accommodating and works very hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. However, we did have some very expensive items stolen from our room and though Sophia and security worked to locate them, they were never found, and the staff was never questioned or searched. The beds and pillows are extremely hard and uncomfortable and the rooms are dated and a little dirty. As I said, this is a tough review to write because so much about this place is wonderful. If the price is right and you manage your expectations — think Glamping instead of lovely resort hotel — and do not leave valuables in your room then you can enjoy all that is magnificent about the location and the manager!

Much of the hotel is in disrepair or under construction but you are out of the craziness of town center with views and peace and quiet and open space for kids to play. If you think of it as Glamping and manage expectations you can enjoy a stay here.

La vue est sublime, le personnel sympathique et serviable. Le petit-déjeuner est correct (fruits de saison + eau + boisson + un plat)

L'hôtel est en construction ! Les bruits tout au long de la journée nuisent à la quiétude de l'endroit. Énormément de moustiques aux abords de l'hôtel qui rentrent dans la chambre (pas de produits anti moustiques fournis pour la chambre), wifi très faible, la télévision ne fonctionne pas. Les toilettes étaient cassées à mon arrivée et le sont restées les 5 nuits de mon séjour. La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours sur demande mais de façon sommaire (toiles d'araignée sur le plafond, poubelle pas toujours vidée).

Location was great, across the river from the town so it was really quiet but with the private footpath to the bridge it didn’t take long to get to the centre. Breakfast was amazing, both western and Laos options available - the chicken noodle soup was our favourite! Lots of juice choice and free fruit was a bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, Sofia in particular went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good. The views were unobstructed, we walked out of our room to Mountain views and ate breakfast there. Due to the place still being under construction the price we got was fantastic.

Very minor but room needs a bath mat as we were slipping around with the tiled floor from the wet room to the bedroom. Again very minor but soap dish is needed. Once this place is completed it will be absolutely incredible.

Het personeel (met name Sofia) deed er alles aan om het ons comfortabel te maken. Ik was ziek toen we aankwamen en we konden zonder probleem extra nachten bijboeken en ze vroeg regelmatig hoe het ging en of we iets nodig hadden. Ze zijn nog met het zwembad bezig, maar zodra die af is, is het qua locatie echt een parel! Je loopt zo het centrum in. Daarnaast helpen ze je ook met dingen regelen. We hebben een scooter gehuurd en kregen een praktisch nieuwe voor een hele goede prijs.

Het enige wat jammer was, is dat er geen ramen in de kamer zitten. Met een hor voor de deuren, zou dit echter op te lossen zijn! Dan heb je toch daglicht, zonder dat de muggen binnen komen.

Large room in a quiet location with good views of the mountains from the veranda. Bed was firm, but reasonably comfortable

The room had no windows and if you opened either of the two doors the room filled with hundreds of mosquitoes, so no possibility of fresh air. The pillows were rock hard and mouldy under the pillow slip. We had clothes washed through the hotel and it was the worst washing we have had anywhere in the world. It was scrunched into a plastic bag, nothing was folded and some items were still damp. Breakfast was inedible, pancakes were rubbery and egg dishes were very oily. The property is having some construction and many things look unfinished, it will be lovely when finished. We discussed all these issues with the manager and she seemed to take notice.

L’emplacement est idéal si on veut être reculé du bruit et du centre ville , ça permet de se dépaysé un peu. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Très bon petit déjeuner Le personnel est tres réactif et aux petits soins.

Sophia, die Managerin, holte uns vom Zug ab, besorgte ein Moped und war sehr aufmerksam.

De ligging van het hotel en de rust daar omheen. Mooi uitzicht op de bergen en de ballonvaarten die langs komen. De service van het personeel is prima. Sofie deed haar best om alles goed te laten verlopen en slaagde hier zeker in. De service wordt continue gemonitord en daar waar nodig aangepast.

Het resort is nog in verbouwing. Het zwembad wordt nu aangelegd maar de werkzaamheden gaven totaal geen overlast. De kamers zien er van buiten mooi uit. Van binnen is het een beetje gedateerd, met name de decoratie/ inrichting kan wel wat beter. Hetzelfde geldt voor de badkamer. In potentie is het dus een geweldige plek die ondanks de kleine tekortkomingen zeker de moeite waard is.

Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam ondanks de renovatiewerkzaamheden. We hebben er geen last van gehad. Locatie is adembenemend mooi.

Er zijn wat renovatie werkzaamheden zoals bouw zwembad maar dit viel reuze mee.

Das Hotel war noch in Renovation, also gar nicht offen, obwohl ich die Buchungsbestätigung erhalten habe. Das Personal wollte mich nicht aufnehmen. Erst durch mein Insistieren konnte ich dort übernachten. Ich habe dann eine Alternative gesucht. Das Rating auf ihrer Seite ist ein (schlechter) Witz!
