Relax on the wrap around deck overlooking Mari's Meadow and enjoy the Elk that call it home. Or enjoy sitting by the firepit roasting marshmallows and just relaxing watching the majestic elk stroll by. I own the vacant lot next door for our Elk friends to relax on. Perfect for all Seasons......This Cabin is owned and managed by me, with an impeccable reputation for offering 5 Star Accommodations. **NOTE, New Cabin Construction Nearby. I booked this cabin for a weekend ski getaway for my wife’s birthday. The weather coming in for a little interesting but they were ready for it with salted roads and snow plows! One personal touch that I have never had was from Bruce, the property owner. First he was very flexible with our check in time as we didn’t know what to expect coming in with the weather. Second, he made it a point to call and check in just to make sure we made it in safely. The cabin was gorgeous! Mountain View’s from any direction on the wrap around porch! The inside was immaculate, clean top to bottom, looked like a show room floor. The very first night, we had elk walk right up to the cabin only feet away! We were centralized to food and fun never having to go far for anything. There is nothing that I would have changed about our trip, it was perfect!

We enjoyed our stayed at Elk Haven Lodge. Everything we needed was available to us, the cabin is equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The cabin is beautiful and the location is great! We saw the Elk heard everyday of our vacation. We are already talking about booking another vacation and staying at this cabin again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was just as described. Everything was clean and well maintained. There is construction going on around, as this is a new development. It didn’t bother us though, as it was a short stay and we were gone during the day. My family really enjoyed playing pool and the fireplace in the evenings. It was too cold this stay, but the fire pit outside would be perfect in another season. We saw elk upon arrival; just as we entered the development. This was a blessing!! The views of the mountains are wonderful. The location is great; central to many things in Maggie Valley and other surrounding towns. Very easy access to the cabin; flat, maintained, hard surface roads. The kitchen is well stocked with all kinds of cookware and small appliances, from toaster, coffee pot, blender, mixer, roaster pan, crockpot, waffle maker, pots/pans, colander, etc. We didn’t use much, but everything is there to cook essentially any kind of meal. Bring whatever food, spices and condiments you want. We didn’t see any firewood for the pit, so bring that. Indoor fireplace is gas. Basic essentials are provided as starters (like TP, soaps, paper towels), but you may want to bring extras if staying for a longer time. There are several Dollar General stores close by if you need to get something, also a liquor store (ABC), but I believe the closest grocery stores are in Waynesville. Owner communication was fantastic. We look forward to returning in another season!!

Loved this cabin! Great location, spacious, and very homelike. Had everything we needed, owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Definitely will be back!
