Our upstairs apartment is located in the heart of downtown Murfreesboro, 8 blocks from the square and less than 2 miles from MTSU. It is completely private and secure. The apartment was built out in 2016 so everything is well-appointed and completely updated. We pride ourselves on our Southern hospitality and welcome everyone! The space The kitchen is completely updated with all stainless steel appliances, dishwasher included. We also have an industrial kitchen sink and a walk-in pantry. We have everything you need for basic meal prep and are happy to purchase and provide additional items within reason if you have a special request. The living room in comfortable with a cozy couch, reading nook, work space, and 48" TV with a DirectTV package and DVR. Please do not order movies from the Cinema channels or add any subscriptions to our service. The living room also has a few USB outlets for convenient device charging. We have a nice mix of old and new with our decor to provide a unique but comfortable environment. Bedroom 1- Queen sized bed with two walk in closets, a dresser, and nightstand. Bedroom 2- King sized Tempurpedic bed with walk in closet, dresser included. Each bedroom and the living room has its own remote-controlled, ductless HVAC unit. They are fairly easy to use, but if you have any questions we're happy to help! Please keep all 3 units on approximately the same settings (mode: heat/cool and temp). The bathroom is equipped with two vanities, a linen closet, and a full size shower/tub. The shower has a very pleasant rain shower head that's extra tall because our last (and first and only) long term tenant was very tall! Again, we really try to make accommodations when we can ;). The bathroom also has a little wall heater so you can make it nice and toasty. The floor tile is natural stone. Additional storage: Outside of the 3 walk in closets, full size pantry, and bathroom linen closet, we have an additional hall closet and a very large attic space/laundry room with lots of storage! Laundry: The laundry room is equipped with a full size washer and dryer. If you don't want to do your own laundry, I can put you in touch with a housekeeper or Big B's dry cleaners is just a few blocks away on the square. Guest access The upstairs apartment is completely private and separate from the downstairs apartment. Everything is self-contained. The only shared space is outside. The driveway is shared. We typically park on the left and let tenants park on the right. There's plenty of parking. You are welcome to enjoy the back patio and yard. If you have any questions, we're happy to help.
