_____________________________________________ Pet friendly! _____________________________________________ Pool Access: The pool is opened for all guests who are registered during your stay. Location: Bryce Mountain Escapes 2565 Orkney Grade, Mount Jackson, VA 22842 Summer hours Mon. - Thurs. 9am - 5pm, Fri. & Sat, 9am - 5:30pm, Closed on Sundays. NOTE: You will need to sign in as guest (name & this address) at the management office before going into the pool. _____________________________________________ Pet Policy Please keep an eye on your pet at all times to avoid any potential accidents or damage to the property. Please keep your pets off the sofa & beds (bring your own pet bedding). Some guests have aggressive pet allergies that can cause serious harm and eliminating pet hair from furniture is a difficult and complex process. For cat owners, we highly recommend using claw caps over their claws to avoid any potential damage they can cause to furniture. Please note that owners are liable for any damage caused to the home. Any damage will result in charges to the guest(s) during there stay. Please keep your pets off the sofa & beds (bring your own pet bedding). _____________________________________________ Garbage Please ensure that all trash is bagged before putting it in the trash can out side. The trash is removed every Tuesday and the garbage will not be picked up if it is not bagged and inside the bin outside. _____________________________________________ Grill The charcoal/wood grill is available for your use and enjoyment during your stay, but do note that grills can be dangerous and are an active fire hazard. USE THE GRILL AT YOUR OWN RISK. Use of the grill acknowledges that you understand these risks and that the host/owner will not be liable or responsible for any damages caused to themselves or guests from the use of the grill. As a safety precaution, there is a water hose located underneath the stairs directly opposite of the steps. Please have the water hose charged and ready when you are actively grilling. We also ask that you please keep the grill clean using the provided brush. Please pour water over used charcoals when done to cool off all cinders and then please dispose of cooled ash in trash bin with bag inside next to the grill. When finished, please turn off the water hose and drain the water out of the line. _____________________________________________ Washer/Dryer This cabin includes a washer and dryer that is free to use by the guests. We ask that you please remove lint from the dryer vent before each use to ensure that it does not overheat and operates efficiently. _____________________________________________ Hot Tub Usage & Tips To ensure a safe and enjoyable use of the spa, the hot tub requires daily testing. The testing strips are located in the kitchen drawer next to the refrigerator and are to be used before use. Insert one strip for about to seconds and shake off the residual water, then compare results to the chart on the container. If the chemical balance is off, please call or text Co-host Pixie. Always enter the spa using the stairs. Feel free to hang towels on hooks near spa. Always keep the spa covered when not in use. When removing the cover, please ensure that the cover is set near the wall or it will fall over the edge and and may be damaged. When covering the hot tub, ensure that you place cover on from the wall side of the pool, not the forest side. Water Quality It is guest's responsibility to keep the spa water clean by obeying our rules if the water pump shuts down due to water level or water contamination. Please contact Co-host Pixie immediately for instructions. Use of the hot tub may be terminated if repairs are necessary and the you will charged for repairs. _____________________________________________ Hot Tub Rules & Regulations 1. Use at Own Risk: The use of this Jacuzzi is at your own risk, and the host/owner is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or health issues that may arise from its use. 2. Maximum Occupancy: 5 guests 3. Age Restriction: Only guests aged 18 and above are allowed to use the Jacuzzi unless accompanied by an adult. Children 5 years of age and younger are not allowed to use the Jacuzzi. 4. Supervision: Children must always be supervised by an adult while in or around the Jacuzzi. 5. No Glassware: DO NOT use glassware or any breakable items in or around the Jacuzzi area to prevent injuries and damage to the equipment. If glass is broken in the spa, please report this so that it can be dealt with. 6. No Food or Drinks: DO NOT bring food and drinks into the Jacuzzi to maintain water hygiene and prevent spills that may damage the Jacuzzi. 7. Shower Before Use: Shower before entering the Jacuzzi to remove lotions, oils, and other substances that can affect water quality. 8. Maintenance: When finished using the Jacuzzi, make sure to place the cover back on the Jacuzzi. 9. Safety: Only enter and exit the Jacuzzi using the steps. 10. Health Considerations: If you have any health conditions, such as heart problems or are pregnant, please consult with a medical professional before using the Jacuzzi. 11. Proper Attire: Only enter the Jacuzzi with appropriate swim attire. 12. No Smoking: ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING of any kind on the premises including vaping (you will be charged $250). The remaining of your booking will be forfeited and violators will be asked to leave the property immediately. 13. Noise Consideration: Guests should be mindful of noise levels to avoid disturbing neighbors. 14. Only guests listed on the rental are allowed to use the spa. 15. No jumping into the hot tub. 16. Avoid splashing water over the sides of the spa as this will lower the water level and cause the pump to shut down. 17. Ensure that all users know where the main power panel is located (lower level closet) in case you need to shut off power in an emergency. DO NOT use this to turn off the hot tub or power off unnecessarily as this will stop the heater from working and the tub will cool down. 18. DO NOT walk on the hot tub cover. This is both for your safety and to ensure no damage to cover. 19. DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB IF YOU HAVE SKIN, EAR, GENITAL OR OTHER BODY INFECTIONS, OPEN SORES OR WOUNDS. 20. DO NOT unplug or plug anything into the cable or exterior outlets outside. _____________________________________________ ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED inside the home, e.g. vape, tobacco, marijuana, etc., for the safety and concern for other guests who do not smoke. NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES allowed in or on the premises. No events, parties, or large gatherings. Must be at least 21 years old to book. _____________________________________________ NOTE: The property requires a staircase to access. _____________________________________________ NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera. The camera is on the right side of the front deck, above the paddle board, facing the front entrance. The camera records video and sounds when activated by motion. ____________________________________________ Kayaking, Paddle Board, Tubing Rules & Regulations 1. Use At Your Own Risk: The use of these water crafts are at your own risk and the host/owner is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or health issues that may arise from there use. 2. Don't Drink and Paddle - this will result in a BUI when you are stopped by the authorities. Any lost or damaged water craft items or safety equipment will result in a replacement fee. $250 for water craft and $100 for life jacket. 3. You MUST Wear A Lifejacket when using any of the water crafts. 4. Dress for Immersion 5. Do not take water craft beyond Lake Laura. Any lost or damaged water craft(s) with result in a $250 replacement fee. 6. Return water craft(s) to the appropriate storage location when you are finished. Please hang all life jackets in the Game Room to dry. Any lost or damaged to life jackets will result in $100 replacement fee. 7. Follow any additional rules that are imposed by the authorities at Laura Lake. 8. If any of the water crafts need air, the appropriate pumps are located downstairs in the bin near the spiral stairs. Please use the QR codes located on the refrigerator to properly inflate the water craft.
