About this house rental

This beautiful house, surrounded by a lush garden, mountain and ocean views, has been fully remodeled in 2022. The house has an open floor plan, with a huge living/dining/kitchen space opening into the backyard on one side, and a secluded atrium on the other, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls on each side. You can enjoy the inside/outside lifestyle typical of Southern California. The design, modern furniture, and artwork is elegant yet discrete. Adjacent to the living area, there is an extra family/study room, with a large custom-made bookshelf packed with American and foreign literature, graphic novels, and arts books. The family room opens into the cactus garden atrium through large sliding glass doors. A lush garden surrounds the house on three sides. The large front yard, with a café table, is surrounded by tall pine trees, succulents, and blooming flowers. The side yard, lined with succulent, Southern California native plants, and blooming flowers, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills, and the city and the ocean in the distance. The huge backyard is shaded by California pine trees. A large deck allows you to enjoy all your meals in the garden, surrounded by mountains, ocean and city views, while listening to the songs of hundreds of wild birds. There are three bedrooms, each with large windows with a view all the way to the ocean. The master bedroom also opens up into the backyard through sliding glass walls, and has its own en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. A third bathroom (with its own shower) opens into the family room. Enjoy both the peace and quiet of the mountains and easy access to the bustling city. Hiking trails literally start in the street. You are a short 10 minutes drive away from downtown Pasadena and Caltech, 15-20 minutes from the hip East LA neighborhoods of Highland Park, Echo Park, and Silver Lake, and 25 minutes from Downtown LA. The living area is 1999 sqft, and the house sits on a secluded 0.42 acres lot. Parking for 3 cars in the driveway, as well as unrestricted non-permit street parking.
