Très cher pour la qualité du séjour.

La proximité avec l’océan.

Le bruit, le fait que ce ne soit pas un hôtel (non mentionné explicitement dans l’annonce), le petit déjeuner très léger dans une boulangerie du quartier, l’absence de réceptionniste.

Delightful apartments in the centre of Foz Do Douro

Location very good, just 5 minutes from beach and right in Foz Do Douro. Staff were excellent, George and Elsa could not have been more helpful.

This is not a hotel, no reception, room service etc. but then never pretended to be. And George, the owner, and Elsa more thank made up for it.

The big flat, the helpful owner and his assistant, it was very comfortable, all the staying was very attentive by the owner

it had all the facilities and single use items you would need, the host was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed about the area, breakfast, facilities and room. fast replies to question on the app. luggage storage allowed us to come back and even use the toilet again , the host let us take all the time we needed to get ready and leave. and would return again

Exceptional

Our stay in Porto was amazing from the first minute to the last :) Jorge is an amazing host as well as an amazing person who makes sure his guests know their way around Porto and feel at home. His kindness and care is exceptional and we can only recommend his amazing apartments. Everything is perfectly clean and home like, Jorge used to live in this house with his family and you can feel the family vibe. Totally different than a usual hotel stay. Also his assistant Elsa and the lovely cleaning ladies Marisol and Fatima always greet you with a smile and are there to be able to help with anything you might need. The location is perfect, with two wonderful Pastelarias (local bakery shops/cafés) where Jorge's guests have breakfast which was one of the best benefits for us because you can see the authentic Portuguese lifestyle of local people and try the delicious sortiment they have every morning :) Also the waiters are great, attentive and always making a little joke with everyone. Foz is an excellent location, just down the hill from the beach (400metres), with a bus stop right in front of the apartments (bus to the heart of the historical part of Porto takes only 20minutes) and you can buy the bus tickets in an information center 50 metres from the apartments :) Small supermarket is just down the road on the way to the beach as well as a small local fruit and veggie shop. You can't have more authentic and also quiet and lovely location in Porto. Even Portuguese people like coming to Foz for a cup of coffee after work ;) And the sunsets or sunrises at the beach, walk to the lighthouse or just watching the local fishermen - all of this just makes you wanna stay and enjoy every moment. Plus all of this experience makes you wanna come back! :) Thank you Jorge, Elsa, Marisol for making us feel so welcome and for having us. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with you! Muito muito obrigada and see you again in the future!

Jorge, the owner of the property was really nice to us and he made our stay very enjoyable.

The breakfast was good. Not buffet where u choose what you want but the staff are nice and they will give you want you want that's covered in your meal pass

Jorge a wonderful host.

The host Jorge was a wonderful man. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the Porto. He drew the best places to go on a map of Porto.

Nothing. The location was amazing just a short walk to the beach. The facilities in the suite were wonderful. A fridge was in the room as was many items toothbrush toothpaste ect.

great place to stay in Porto :)

I really recommend this accomodation for people that want to stay near the ocean. City centre is also quite near, 20 minutes by public transport. Room was very spacious, clean and great equipped, it really suprised us in a good way. The owner was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was served in a bistro which is few metres from the accomodation and the stuff there was also super friendly and food was delicious.

Affordable & cute room in modern apartment

Our lovely host assistant Elsa who accommodated us with everything we needed and was so helpful. Perfect room for us two friends and a shared kitchen with everything you'll need. Next time we'll stay in the roof top room with the pool... Also the breakfast in local cafe every morning was just perfect!

Can't say anything we didn't like except the pillows, but I'm pretty sure we'd get different ones if we said anything.

Excelent stay - relaxing time close to the beach

Our apartment was very nice, clean, tidy, beautiful view from the top, swimming pool access - we didn´t use - it was not summer anymore but it was nice surprise to have this access, apartment is close to the beach - walking distance - 5 - 10 min, close to the local market - just accross the street, taxis are waiting just in front of the building, very helpful owner - Mr. Silva who takes care of his guests from their arrival to their departure - he was waiting for us at the airport, showed us local restaurants where to eat, showed us nice area where to make nice photos during the sun sets or sun rise, he whowed us the nearest beach that is very beautiful, quiet with some restaurants where it possible to eat and drink, peaceful places, Mr. Silva informed us about local transport possibilities, he is supportive, helpful, available on his mobile phone or whattsup - just in case his quests might need something, thank you very much for your kind help. Area is very safe, nice, clean, nice breakfast - free of charge - first morning just accross the road, Highly reccommended.

Perfect

Everything was okey. Suites are in really good location just few minutes from ocean. Me and my boyfriend had room with jacuzzi which was really perfect relax. Room was big and absolutely clean. Breakfast are in bakery shop very near - also good. We had good time, Thank you. We will come back for sure. Lucy

excellent location: close to the ocean, taxis are always at the entrance, easy to get to the center. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly and caring person. Very nice atmosphere, excellent sleeping mattresses, which is important. Everything corresponds to the description Thank you!

Friendly and homely.

There was a nice, homely feel to this bed and breakfast style accommodation. We had the big room at the top with the spa bath which was lovely and spacious.

The pool was not in our building so we had to walk down the road and to the top of another building for the pool, which was not a problem but it would have been good to have been told in advance. Breakfast was also in a cafe across the road and at a different venue on Sunday morning which was very busy and loud.

The apartment is in a very good location, close to the ocean and the city center is easily accessible by bus. The owner is also very nice. It had everything we needed.

Vacation with family

Superfriendly staff. Very helpfull and relaxed. Location close to the beach and easy acces to city centre by Uber. Rooms were very good although single beds were quite hard.

Peaceful & Cooling Basement Apartment

The location was excellent, as we wanted to be close to Parque da Cidade do Porto. Jorge, the Host, supplied us with Breakfast Vouchers for the Café across the road (30 seconds walk) and the Coffee, Orange Juice, Sandwiches and Pastries were very good. There were always Bird Electric Scooters outside our front-door, which suited us as this was our main method of travel (download the app prior to leaving and purchase the 'Day/Week Pass' if you intend on using the e-scooters for more than 20 minutes a day). Jorge was always available on his mobile (WhatsApp), which is comforting.

The ventilation isn't great, but you can overcome this by leaving the windows and door open.
