Ideal!
Comfortable and great location in town, within short walking distance of the beach, cafes and restaurants. Barbara is super friendly and helpful with lots of local recommendations. Gave me a lift to Addis Point to do a scenic hike back into town. Would definitely stay again!

Cosy, honest, value for money.
Very welcoming, comfy mattress, inviting fire in the evening, value for money and good location as it's just out of the hub but close enough to beach and eateries.

Very good
Needed a place to stay in Anglesea for work for 1 night. Everything was really expensive so decided to take a private room in the backpackers which was the most affordable I could find (except for camping which wasn't an option). Bedding and towel were provided, staff member/owner was wonderful, the wood fire was lit so the communal space was nice and warm, and they had put a little electrical heater in the bedroom so it wasn't too cold there. Bed was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. There was no one else staying so I had the whole place to myself!
The interior is a bit dated, but honestly, that doesn't really matter! I also would've expected to be able to find something cheaper than $135 - but this was by far the cheapest in Anglesea, so I guess the price is fair.

Great Place to Stay in this Beach Town
The host was very welcoming and showed us around the house. We were lucky enough to be the only guests the night we stayed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans as well as a few condiments and spices. The houses has a nice charm, and is painted in soothing beachy colors.
Everything was good.

Clean and tidy no thrills convenient accommodation
The location was fantastic. We booked a private room for one night on our Great Ocean Road Journey. You can tell from the photos that the decor of the place is a little outdated so no surprises there however it was extremely clean, comfortable, affordable and exactly what we needed to a one night sleep.
