Good location, but beware of the noise

Location is great because it is the city center, there are many restaurants, cafes and shops around. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room has basic appliances which is more than enough. They also provide you with free drinkable water.

The location. It has some bars that play quite loud music at least till 1 a.m. even in the winter time(to be fair I read some reviews that there is noise, but I thought that it would only apply to the summer season, unfortunately it is a problem all year round as it seems). So if you go to sleep early it might be a bit of an issue. But if you plan on sleeping later it might work out for you.

Pleasant

Good location

Room was unclean, towels also unclean, bed very uncomfortable, terrace on the roof was also really unclean and old, not like in the pictures.

So we were expecting much better apartment, much cleaner and bigger as in photo, but unfortunately we was not satisfied

Firstly, we liked that property had a water cooler. Secondly, staff tried to solve the situation.

Firstly, floor , towels , bed sheets and room at all was untidy. There was spots on towels and hair on the bed sheets. The outdoor terrace was dirty too. Secondly, bed was broken. Thirdly, the every day cleaning didn’t clean over room at all , they just give us new towels , but even didn’t collect the used ones. Last time then they did “cleaning” they just put new towels on the floor in front of the room door. And lastly, the half of rosettes in the room didn’t work. We weren’t expecting that there would be english type of rosettes. We didn’t find any adapter, but the hairdryer was with European rosette, so we cannot use it .

The room could have been cleaner ie tiles in bathroom and dirty walls. Could have had tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Have a kitchen but no basics like salt, pepper, oil, margarine to cook with

Very good

The location is very central in the heart of Valletta. very convenient to explore all the main attractions in Valletta on foot. Restaurant and bars are just downstairs. Check-in instructions very clear and easy. The apartment offers to store your luggage for free if you are leaving the town later as it was with us. The apartment is spacious and can accommodate 4 people comfortably. The apartment has a bathroom with a bath tub and a separate shower which was nice. We stayed there in mid February 2023 for 5 nights.

The thing that I did not like is the pillows as they were not comfortable and need to be replaced with new ones. Also I believe that the bed sheets need to be cleaner.

Good location and price but a bit disappointing for the reasons outlined above

Good location!

Lots is small annoying things. iron was broken, hair dryer had a two pin plug, but no two pins sockets in the apartment! The only information / instructions related to a whole page on keeping down noise, not having parties and anti social behaviour (well over the to) but no instructions on how to use the TV which had two controls and couldn’t use it at all! It was also advertised as a ‘one bedroom apartment’ but it was just one room with a flimsy door to the ‘en-suite’. it was ok for me but not what was described in the booking. Nearly all the photos show the roof top seating area which had great views but was much smaller than it looked and not that impressive!

Very good

the rooftop is really nice to relax and enjoy the view over the city, port and ocean. The location is very convenient to anything in VAletta, the central bus stop etc.

there is a very noisy bar on the street, especially at the weekend they are open until very late at night. Of course, if you stay in the centre of a city with active night life, you have to expect that it may be noisy. Therefore, no real complaints.

Superb

I was given clear instructions how to find the appartement, how to open the main door and how to retrieve the appartement key beforehand and had no trouble getting in. As people have mentioned before the doors in the street are not numbered the way people from some other European countries might be used to, but thanks to the clear instructions I found it perfectly. There was also a phone number I could have called, should I have had any problem. The appartement was very spacious and clean and had anything I could have possibly needed for cooking and eating and also an iron and a hairdryer - which I did not expect, so that was a bonus. I stayed only for 3 nights over the Christmas period and thouroughly enjoyed my stay. I was there to enjoy the nightlife of Valletta and the location was perfect for that. Other guests should be aware that this means there are bars which play music in the immediate vicinity, so if you want total quiet this area of Valletta might not be for you. I also enjoyed the lovely view from the beautiful rooftop terrace.

I only have one minor suggestion for improvement. The kettle had a bit too much limescale built-up which unfortunately affected the taste of my coffee. But I'm sure that can be easily fixed and really didn't change the fact that I had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay

Such a nice, spacious and clean room, with cleaning service during our stay. Everything is nearby, with a less than 5 min walk you can go anywhere: to restaurants, shops, churches-landmarks etc. Self check-in with the codes was easy, the place even had a lift. Really nice of the owners to have water to drink at the entrance downstairs. We didn't meet the owners but the communication through booking.com was excellent. You can leave your baggages in the baggage room at check-out and come back to take them later. The view from the rooftop was amazing. We had a wonderful stay, I highly recommend the place.

The room is located at a pedestrian street, Strait St., with lots of bars that close at 12-1am, until then you can hear the music but it's not too loud if you close the windows, we didn't find that to be a problem for us, but you might want to consider it. Building was old (like all the others in Valletta), so if you take the stairs to go upstairs it smells moldy. The baggage room is not secured with a key/code and there is no reception to guard your things.

I love historical locations

The owners were attentive to my requests for assistance.

The kitchen faucet is not attached properly, making use cumbersome. Location in the older section of Valletta, the streets being narrow act as a funnel for noise from a club down the street. Consequently, the boom, boom, boom of the music begins at 16:00 and continues until 02:00. It is distracting. Possibly not a problem for folks that are night owls.

Didnt like it

İt was in valetta -bed was allright

-too nosy street until late hours music was banging -there was a disturbing beeping sound in the bed room İt wasnt coming from ac,or other thing. Sometimes it was beeping every minute VERY disturbing. - not enough kitchen material - there was a Huge bug we became face to face then it panicked and run away.. so am i - you cant reach land lord not responding.. - the place was hard to find

Very good

Nice big apartment in the centre of Valetta, balcony and rooftop terrace were a plus! We we're on the 4th floor so had a great view. Price wise this is great value for the cheap price vs other places in Valetta.

There was an odd smell in the hall ways (Not in the apartment itself). There was also quite alot of ants in the apartment - (I did say this to the host who put down some ant killer but they came back)

With it being an apartment it would be nice to provide sachets of tea, coffee, sugar etc. Some toiletries would be nice in the bathroom. More pillows for the bed as one is not enough.

Very good

Obviously the location was amazing! You are in the city center and you have everything nearby, literally. There's a great bar on the same street just 10 seconds away which really perks up the atmosphere. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, it had a fully equipped kitchen, a separate shower cabin and a bathtub, air conditioning and everything was well lid. You even have one of those traditional maltese balconies that overlooks the street. The open roof terrace was just perfect for enjoying a drink or two in the evening or the breathtaking perspectives during the day (although not for too long because it was really hot 😁).

For this experience to be a 10/10 the cleanliness has to improve. I am a cleaning maniac but I will be realistic here. Not that it was very bad but it looked like there weren't any guests before us for a long time, since you could notice a bit dust on the nightstands, for example, the floor needed thorough vacuuming and the toilet a fresh wipe. If you decide to walk the stairs and not use the elevator you could notice many random stuff just laying around, full garbage bags included. In my opinion, those things take just few minutes bit will make a huge difference and would make the stay more pleasant. I really hope that the host will try better and everyone will benefit from that. ☺️

Disappointing

Closeness to all the attractions. Lift was useful.

Shower was dirty and clogged. Very noisy outside. The terrace wasn't pleasant enough to sit there. I couldn't connect to the wifi.

Wonderful location, nice clean apartment and accommodating hosts. Check the rooftop terrace for views and relaxation.

The apartment was I superb location in Valletta, so close to restaurants, shops and things to see. The apartment itself was lovely and clean and we absolutely loved the rooftop terrace. The master bed was comfortable and the sofa bed our teenage girls slept was ok but tilted a bit so their heads were lower than their feet but can be remedied by switching position so not really a big deal. Overall a very lovely stay in a nice apartment.

Valletta is great and easy to explore from this location. But this apartment will make you go Eeeew.

the location was excellent. couldn’t ask for better.

sadly, this property is filthy. like deep down to the bones dirty. I saw other people remark on this in reviews - but thought they could be overstating things. they were not. there’s mould growing in the shower. hair balls on the ground. grimey food fingerprints on the fridge door. dishwasher screwed shut. grime and dust build up in the cracks and corners. broken and stained toilet seat. the previous guests toothpaste left in the brush holder. plates and cutlery left dirty - mainly because there is an old sponge left in the sink and no soap for washing up. at least half the lightbulbs are out / not working. no soap in the bathroom or kitchen. no cleaning products anywhere apart from a can of cockroach killer in the kitchen. there was a glass left in the shower with approx 30mls of pink liquid in it - which might have been soap intended for 4 people for 4 nights? we’re unsure. toilet brush had vomit through it. there’s a linen cupboard that looked like a rubbish dump. the towels provided were white in a previous life - now grey and very worn. it’s such a shame because the place could be awesome, if it was cleaned. to note - if you are staying as 2 couples - be Warned the bathroom is off the main bedroom and does not have a window or extraction fan. the shower is in a cupboard in the lounge (again, no extraction fan and very little space). so privacy is low. very low. it is advertised as having a single bed - but this is a small chaise lounge that my 12 year old slept on. and I think the pillows might have been through a washing machine because they are bunched up balls of Dacron inside the case. the roof terrace is not well represented by the photos. it’s gone to ruin - again so sad. it looks like a junk deposit up there now. plants all dead and furniture broken. sadly, this is the worst accommodation I have stayed in, in all of Europe; but could’ve been one of the best.

the location!!

it has a bar across the street and it’s very loud till 1 a.m. if you wanna sleep early then you have to go to another road more quiet .Also needs to be cleaned better , they also need to change light balls the half of them are not working and also fill the soap . little things to make it amazing

Great location and place for one night stay

Amazing location in the city centre, however very loud from nightlife even with closed windows. Beautiful terrace with stunning views. Good value for money but only because we scored a last minute deal. Double bed was ok but the couch was very tiny and short to fit 2 people.

Very basic equipment that was ok for one night but we wouldn’t stay longer. Missing toilet paper and any hooks for towels. Luckily we didn’t cook in the kitchen, not well equipped, dirty sponge and cloth, crockery looked dirty. No rubbish bag in the bin, pots lying right next to the bin. Entrance to the terrace could be improved for example with a curtain, you enter through a lot of laundry machines and linen, stairs are broken.
