Plenty of nice shops and wonderful restaurants for any whish. the skiarea is large (650km) and is part of Portes du Soleil. From Les Gets there is direct access to Morzine, and Avoriaz and it is very well possible for a bit advanced skiers to make a nice trip to Switzerland with it's famous "Wall" and to Les Lindarets, the goat village with wonderfull restaurants. but also Les Gets itself has an extensive ski area, plenty to discover and enjoy in a week.
