Clean , modern room.
Friendly staff.
Door mechanisms not adjusted to prevent banging-come on, this is basic maintenance!
10 am breakfast finish is too early.

Comfy king size bed, good sized room with a nice view. Staff was very friendly.

if I’m going to pay 230 dollars for a glorified motel there should at least be the option of kill for coffee. it’s a basic ask not extravagant. my issue a little bit more was that when I asked at reception if there was any milk, he looked at me like I was asking him to remove all the red M&Ms like a Diva or something . I just find the rates are over the top now and inflation is a factor but the companies are gauging. at this moment I’m staying at a beautiful holiday inn express which is always my first choice in Sault Ste. Marie and it’s literally almost 100 dollars cheaper and the amenities are much better here. Also, another thing I forgot to mention was there wasn’t even a microwave in the room and I know there’s one in the breakfast room, but sometimes convenience is what makes people stay loyal to a company . if you are saving that extra money by not providing a microwave in each of the rooms than that savings to translate down and lower the price.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times on our way through Thunder Bay. It has never disappointed. The last couple of times we have booked a king suite and have found it to be very spacious and comfortable. When we stay here we order a takeout dinner from The Five Forks restaurant next door which is so handy and has many delicious options. There is a lot of choice for the breakfast at the hotel and the friendly, helpful person who works in the breakfast area keeps it spotless!

Addition of some meat for breakfast would have been great. Best Western breakfast is a good benchmark. Breakfast location is good. Free flow of coffee at any time is a great initiative.
The cleaners are very obliging and willing to clean or tidy up the room even though it is not the turn to clean the room
Ms. Daisy and Mr. Justin, the breakfast team are very friendly and obliging. They ensure there is enough food for everyone. The frontdesk Supervisor (sorry I did not get her name) actually removed the cloths which was left overnight in the laundry machine so that another person can use it. Other staffs including Mr. Blesson are also very helpful (sorry I did not get the names of the other frontdesk staffs).
Some suggestion :-
1. Perhaps more laundry washer and dryer would be good
2. Laundry are left behind in the washer by some occupants which makes it difficult for the next person to use the washer
3. If possible - some amount of money exchange (US to Canada) should be made available at the frontdesk.
4. There were no transport provided from the airport to the hotel. Perhaps it should be provided on special request as some travellers may be new to the Thunderbay Area

broken and overflowing ashtrays outside. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. parking lot wasn’t plowed and difficult to get in to. Breakfast was horrible, the worst continental breakfast I’ve ever had! There was full garbage bags thrown outside the Front emergency exit for all to see, split open and all over the ground. The hallways had garbage from guests outside the doors that no staff picked up for the entire weekend!
