Superb

The staff were amazing! Everyone of them! The place was spotless. Although the bathrooms are sadly outdated, the cleaning staff did an admirable job, making them as.comfortable as possible. The absolute best was the shuttle service, to and from the airport, and Universal Studios!

The bathrooms were outdated, and the air-conditioning was loud.

Very good

The location was really good, it was close to places to eat and you could easily get to the Hollywood stars walk of fame! The shuttle bus to universal studios was brilliant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was perfect as it was very hot!

This is our GO TO location for anything in the Hollywood Burbank area!

NO Breakfast at this location , but loved the site and help.

Parking is getting harder with all the large vehicles.

staff were very helpful and eager to give all kind of assistance to make your trip fruitful and full of joyful.

room is in bad need to have a microwave to make room staying beneficial especially Hotel not have food facilities

Exceptional

Friendly staff. Quiet area but still close to nearby attractions. Clean room and bathroom. The pool, outdoor common area and of course the neon sign!

cannot really fault. location great clean and friendly also restaurant next door olives bistro highly recommended.

nice location , comfy rooms , very quiet at night.

was told that room cleaning would be daily and this didn’t happen. staff happy to rectify after an apology but didn’t stay long enough to see this through.

The location was good for my purposes but I only went there because the hotel took dogs. I liked the hotel’s sign- classic Americana

The hotel was in need of updating. It felt tired. Even though it cost over two hundred dollars a night, it felt like I was a backdrop for The Hustler and should have been standing around in a slip smoking a cigarette.

Good location for Universal Studios

Access to frig and microwave and within walking distance of places to eat. Close to Universal Studios.

It was difficult to sleep due to constant noise from upstairs guests. Also, lots of noise from people talking outside our door. People would also hang out in the parking lot which was right outside the hotel doors. A good night of sleep would have been appreciated after a day at Universal Studios.

The staff were all professional and helpful from the Maids, Maintenance and Front Office.

The room should of included a microwave.

It was a decent stay.

Location to our destinations were great. We visited Universal Studios, Warner Bros Studio tour and Hollywood. Front desk guy was nice and friendly. Food options within walking distance.

A simple stay in a famous spot

We wanted to stay in Burbank, as we were visiting friends nearby, and the Safari Inn was perfectly located. Also, as it features in films such as True Romance, we thought it would be fun to stay in a famous venue. The staff were helpful, kind and courteous, and the hotel is well laid out in a motel-like structure, allowing easy access to your room from your parking space.

Aside from its famous references, the hotel itself is pretty simple, and while clean and functional, it is overall, a standard motel. The room facilities are somewhat basic, with a single sink and showers with good temperatures but low water pressure, and not even the slightest hint towards its famous past, which I found surprising. For the cost, I would have expected the hotel to lean in a little more, perhaps even putting up a few pictures of the films it has featured in, reminding guests of its pedigree. After all, the front desk has a reminder that it’s a popular hotel for tourists to the Universal Studios lot nearby, so why not join in on the action?

Very good

The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. The bathroom was large and well equipped.

There was no iron or ironing board in the room, but you could request it. There also was no closet. There was a space to hang clothes, but the rack was right next to the TV, which I felt was a little small considering how far it was from the beds.

Very lovely and will definitely make a point to return.

Staff was very friendly! Bonus for the free shuttle from the airport and to Universal Studios. Our shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful!

Being woke up to the doors slamming loudly as other guests would enter/exit the rooms. Not the hotels fault.
