Parking was easy and safe. Room was clean and comfortable. There was a great bar in the lobby for dinner, and a coffee shop a few feet away.
Bathroom was small, but that’s to be expected from an older building.

Good location for Paramount studios tour, and centrally located for LA overall. Decent restaurant options in walking distance.
Definitely overpriced for what you get - much better options around the same price in LA. Parking was good to have, but the parking system was very weird. There was a valet, but he didn’t park the cars - just directed you where to park and there wasn’t enough parking for the number of guests. At one point he had our car blocked in, and refused to help when we needed to leave.

Le charme de l’hôtel est sympa et le parking est facilement accessible.
Il y a eu un petit micmac avec les clés de la chambre en arrivant mais qui s’est vite réglé.

I love staying here, its my second trip and im already booked in again for next year. Its a good location at a great price for LA. The staff are friendly and professional and best of all consistently helpful.
Its a historic building so some modernization is lacking, but would like to see coffee/tea making materials in rooms still.

The room was clean. The staff was super nice and gave us free parking as we only stayed for one night. The hotel is a historic building, and has a good location.
There's limited power outlets. Also no exhaust fan in the restroom.

All was well. It is indeed a historic (aka somewhat dated) hotel; bathrooms were a bit too small, but nothing was really amiss. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and you might hear a bit of noise from people sitting outside, but it did not bother me.

The staff (Betty, David, Michael, and Charley) were wonderful. Classy, quaint, and clean hotel in a great location (very close to Paramount Studios). The Edmond restaurant and Sweet Shop bakery are next door as well (so delicious and convenient). The rooms were large and comfortable. Loved the 2 complimentary bottled waters that was in each room.

Very nice historical hotel, nice and comfortable bed, very good personell.
Good location, close to the Hollywood studios and not too far from Beverly Hills area.
The hotel had also a nice bar/restaurant area which was really lively in the evening.
At the corner there was also a nice bakery-patisserie.
The bathroom and especially the bathroom sink was really small.
The parking at 18$ A night was pretty expensive, even by LA standards.

The Hotel was nice and clean. Good location for the event I was attending. The staff was very nice, especially Beatrice.

The restarant The Edmond was closed.

Good location, clean.
No coffee machine. Instead they decided to open a coffee shop for customers’ breakfast.
Front desk staff were not happy and nor professional.
On July 1st daytime shift, the guy is not friendly nor professional. And the next morning I said good morning to him, he couldn’t even open his mouth to greet back.
On July 2nd at 7:30 pm with a different person. When I asked him about where I dropping off the keys to check out the next day, he was looking at his phone and answered my question and then looked at his phone and me back and forth.
Both of then gave me the impression that they didn’t seem to have enough pay so they can’t honor their job.

Super clean, comfy bed and pillows. We had a quiet night and slept live babies. Plus point for having microwave and mini fridge.
Parking wasn't complementary and it was a bit crowded. We got the last spot available though and it was gated, so it was extra safe.

We had a room on the front of the hotel, 214, and we could see the Hollywood sign. The room was quite spacious although a little dated. Parking to the rear of the hotel was gated and safe, with an attendant present all day until sunset. There was a bar and restaurant in the hotel which had a vibrant atmosphere, comfortable and the food was also good. A rear garden area where you could sit outside to drink and eat was also worth a visit.
The road outside was quite busy throughout the night with traffic, and we had difficulty sleeping the first night as it seemed like there was a window open. We checked next morning and the noise was coming through a window mounted air conditioning unit which had not been fitted with an acoustic barrier, hence you could see directly through the vent to the outside. We bought some ear plugs locally which solved the issue.

historic hotel as name suggests it is an old hotel with modern rooms. there is a private parking lot on the property and very nice bar
room was very small and had old school windows, but this was expected from a historical building

we were happy with location, room full equipped with iron, hairdryer, clean and with the view to Hollywood sign.
The smell in the lobby and all corridors was terrible.. I needed to get use to it. it smells very strange. Also have in mind if you have view to Hollywood sign your room will be next to very busy noisy street. Men receptionist was not very friendly on our arrival.

It was a cool old hotel that provided my wife and me a clean, quiet and comfortable room for a reasonable price. We chose to park our car in the hotel lot for $18 because parking on the streets was tight. A short walk down the street was the Italian restaurant Osteria del Buca, which we recommend for a casual and fun dinner. We had coffee at the Sweet Corner adjacent to the hotel, not bad but not something we would repeat should we stay at the hotel again.
The area around the hotel was quite uninspiring. My wife and I did an after dinner walk around Paramount Studios to walk off our pizza and check out Paramount. It was a surprisingly long walk because of the size of the studios. Nothing unpleasant occurred, but the appearance of many of the buildings across the street from the studios left me feeling nervous at times. i wouldn’t recommend that walk.

ambience, location, staff and bar was fantastic.
room was a bit hot and dated, no shower pressure.

It seemed to be one of the cheapest hotels we could find (obviously without staying in an absolute dive). The location isn't too bad in terms of visiting Hollywood, although we did have a car which made traveling around easier. The fact it had parking was a plus.
The staff were unfriendly and didn't want to help, the rooms were very basic and small, with run down appliances. No kettle or coffee making facilities in the room.

the room had a vintage charm
They wanted to charge us $75 to check in before 3pm which seemed exorbitant. the location wasn’t pleasant of which we didn’t feel comfortable walking around at night

Nice hotel with a decent size room and a comfortable bed. Car parking at the rear. Staff were all very lovely and super friendly, especially Betty. Perfect location for studios and other main attractions. Lots of food options available near by. Highly recommend the bar connected with the hotel. We would stay here again.
