Nestled in Avola, this lovely bed and breakfast for R 2,606 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Bed And Breakfast Marricriu welcomes its guests in an environment appropriate to the name that means just refresh, riconfortarsi, revive and IE give refreshment to weakened body and mind. Looking for the etymology of the word "Marricriu" I found out that "Recreation" It can also be said ricriarsi much like the Sicilian term that I felt as a child, and that my ears sounded roughly "arrichiarsi", which is actually arricriàrisiand that means broadly feel pleasure, or even be sated, satollo, awaited, fed, riconfortato me, revived: animum or mentem recreare, or recreare tenuatum corpus, i.e. give refreshment to the body weakened. The Bed And Breakfast Marricriu site Avola is located in a strategic position, not far from the Sea (300 m) in a quiet and reserved. Marricriu bed and breakfast's rooms are all air-conditioned and double rooms (with extra bed – children added on request), WiFi, tv, mini bar, desk, safe, en suite bathroom with hairdryer, amenities and towels supplied. "Marricriu" also offers an outdoor area with parking, pool area with lawn and large veranda for breakfast, all designed to make guests feel comfortable and hospitable environment. Wundervolle Unterkunft in tollem Urlaubsort
Es war einer der schönsten Urlaube den wir verbracht haben 🤗
Illary war immer für für uns da und hat un jeder Lage geholfen. Das Zimmer war hervorragend sowie auch das Frühstück.
Aber der Pool war das beste ausreichend groß und man konnte die Zeit dort genießen. Zu erwähnen sei das man Fahrräder kostenlos nutzen konnte um Avola zu erkunden.
Auch das Familien Restaurant Portomao können wir nur empfehlen, einfach spitze.
Wir kommen zu 100% wieder.

Un lieu reposant où on se sent bien
L'accueil d Illary est irréprochable, elle est joyeuse et dynamique! Notre chambre était très spacieuse et confortable, la salle de bain semble du coup un peu petite. Tout est neuf et impeccable. Le matin Illary faisait des gateaux pendant qu'on prenait le petit déjeuner! Prêt gratuit de vélos. Bref dans cette maison tout est mis en oeuvre pour pour que l'on passe de bonnes vacances!

Das B&B ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Meer ist nur wenige Meter entfernt und man kann Sonnenschirm und Stühle vom B&B mitnehmen.
Das Personal super freundlich.
Illary ist eine fröhliche Gastgeberin und sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Soggiorno incantevole
Ottima l'accoglienza e la disponibilità di Illary (la proprietaria) ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. La ns. stanza era molto ordinata con arredamento nuovo, l'ampio balcone attrezzato di sedie e tavolino e stendino, si affacciava sulla bella piscina. Bagno "da suite" ampio e nuovo con doccia spaziosa e curato nei minimi dettagli. Piscina sempre disponibile con lettini, ombrelloni e doccia a ns. disposizione (il più delle volte, dopo la spiaggia, eravamo solo noi 3 in vasca "eccezionale"!!!
Colazione in veranda vista piscina abbondante e ben fornita (frutta, yogurt, croissant, marmellate, succhi, the, caffè, cappuccio, uova, corn flakes, frutta secca e salumi vari).
A disposizione (gratuitamente) dei
clienti anche 4 biciclette, ombrelloni e sedie da spiaggia.

Prima B&B in recent gebouw.
Super comfortabel, zeer proper, zeer ruime kamer met goede bedden. Buiten de woning is er plaats voor de wagen, proper zwembad, met ligbedden en parasols. Prima ontbijt met alles wat je nodig hebt.
En zeer vriendelijke 'host' .
Prima ligging op wandelafstand vh strand(zand).
Zeer aan te bevelen!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Illary ist einfach zauberhaft und tut alles, um ihren Gästen eine tolle Zeit zu ermöglichen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, zum Frühstück gab es immer frisches Obst, die Auswahl war ausreichend. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen,um Ausflüge zu machen. Unbedingt das Restaurant Retrogusto und die Eisdiele testen (beides die Straße rechts hoch). Wir vermissen das Marricriu.

Illary made us very welcome, and we enjoyed every minute of our nine day stay. After a chilled out fresh breakfast, we were able to visit the numerous attractions in the area, sometimes a cultural visit, sometimes lounging on the beach. At the end of every day we spent a few hours around and in the pool, reading and cooling off, before showering in the lovely en suite and walking to the family restaurant (just down the road, beside the beach) for our evening meal . It is a family business, and all the family are lovely.

Accueil très chaleureux d'Illary qui est toujours de bons conseils. Supervriendelijk, mooie B&B, centraal gelegen
Illary is een supervriendelijke, enthousiaste gastvrouw die de B&B runt met heel haar hart. De B&B is nieuw; de kamer en badkamer zien er erg mooi uit en het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid. Het zwembad wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt en ook aan de tuin en het terras wordt veel zorg besteed. Er zijn een paar fietsen die je gratis mag gebruiken. Het familierestaurant ligt op loopafstand. De B&B ligt heel centraal om dit deel van Sicilië te bekijken. We waren er maar 3 nachten wat dus eigenlijk veel te kort was!

Fantastic location, fantastic host!
B&B Marricriu is a perfect place for your vacation. It is located perfectly, with the city centre 5 minutes away, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and beautiful beaches in adjacent villages. The B&B itself en it's rooms are very clean and comfortable!
To top it all of you get the best host: Illary. She surprises you with fresh juice every morning and answers all your questions and even has very nice tips.
We would recommend Marricriu to everybody!

Mooie accomodatie, fijn verblijf :-).
We voelden ons erg welkom bij Illary en we waren vereerd dat we de eerste gasten waren sinds de B&B is geopend (voorheen vakantiewoningen, inmiddels B&B geworden). Alles nieuw, goed op orde, villa en tuin mooi en goed verzorgd. Ontbijt heerlijk, iedere dag weer een verrassing en veel afwisseling. Dat gecombineerd met een gastvrouw die erg veel inzet toont: super.

We arrived here after spending our first few days in Sicily in a less-than impressive property a mile or so a way. What a contrast! Here we found a spotlessly clean, very friendly, well equipped, and comfortable home-from-home. Top marks! Probably the best place we have ever stayed.

We stayed here for a week during our trip to Sicily and it was great! We were fortunate to have the ground floor apartment with direct access to a the pool, BBQ and garden. On a daily basis Giampaolo would come by to clean the pool, do some gardening and make sure everything was constantly looking its best. We met Illary, her brother and their farther Giampaolo and they all did their absolute best to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible, always ready to answer what ever question had. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Avola, the location of the apartment is great, close to the city center and the beach at the same time. We borrowed a couple of bicycles from Illary and rode around Avola, a perfect way to see this lovely city. I would love to go back should I ever get to that part of Sicily again!
