This little house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ashlee the host was on top of communication and was super helpful. Our flight came in early, and she let us check in early, which was amazing. Some of the reviews put the house in a little sketchy area and a far walk from the Stockyards. This was not true at all. The stockyards were only three blocks away and we walked to them in just under 10 minutes. We are a group of 50 -60 year old woman so we were not setting any speed records. lol I also felt completely safe walking home from the Stockyards around 10:30 p.m. I highly recommend a stay at this cute little house with rich Stockyard history.

Overall, we were pleased with the property. We were very close the Stockyards. We did drive there but we had small children with us and it was a bit far for them to walk and then walk around the stockyards all day. I would not have wanted to walk back in the dark in this area. The house was nice but it did need some minor tweaks. For instance, one of the bedroom doors had tacks sticking up (there was a rug covering it) and the door would not close. The shower curtains would fly up while showering (this is a personal pet peeve) and there was some trash in the yard. I think with minor attention to detail, the property would have been a 5. There is only parking on the street here.

Had a great stay unfortunately, we lost power for a day and it was in the 90's so it was a bit too hot for us to stay in the house for most of the day. We had to make other plans so we could get some AC relief. House had everything we needed. Overall it was very convenient and worked out great for what we needed.

The house was cute and nicely decorated but it's location wasn't good at all. When we pulled up we all sat in the car and no one said a word. It sure wasn't what we expected. We didn't feel safe to walk especially after talking to the locals. They told us to drive, not to walk. Then we got eat up with fleas and we found roaches big and small. It was really hard to sleep there. We live on a farm and are use to animals but we heard dogs barking all night long, chickens crowing, and gun shots several times. Every time we sat on the couch fleas would jump on our arms and legs. My friend who is allergic to EVERYTHING got eat up soooooo bad. She was up at 4:30 each morning dressed and ready to get out of there. She had over 30 bites on her. Really messed our trip up. We don't live like that but we felt like we lived in filth that week. We NEVER complain so this was hard to type but it is the honest truth.

Four days in walking distance to the stockyards? What a great stay. Easily accessible, and a great place to lay your head. We plan on staying again when we visit!
