Great value during a busy weekend in Champaign

The beds and bathroom are clean and functional. The hotel is right by Carle hospital and close to the UIUC campus. It was not a lavish destination, but we wanted something cheap and solid for homecoming weekend, and that's what we got!

It was not a lavish destination, and the room and bathroom were outdated. Like I said, we were looking for a cheap place to stay during homecoming, and this was more than good enough. It was also hard to get an Uber, but I'm guessing that was just because homecoming weekend is busy.

The hotel is very near to the campus of UIUC

Room was cosy and comfortable. There was no breakfast served! The hotel is very near to the UIUC campus and that is the reason we preferred to stay there.

The housekeeping was pathetic! The guy does not bother to clean the room or the bathroom. He just changes the towels and toiletries and disappears! For the 10-12 days we stayed at the hotel, he changed the bed sheets just twice, and that too after pointing it out to the reception desk. The tables and furniture were full of dust and the woman at the reception, rather than coming up and checking for herself and clarifying about it from the cleaner, tells me angrily that he has been with them a long time and no body complains about him!

You get what you pay for at this location that has college crowd,

The staff was very polite and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. The furniture was very unique. The TV was good.

There was NO COFFEE. The water did not get hot. It was a college hangout. Waiting for the man to smell my room before getting my 1 hundred dollar deposit, I did not expect that. I didn't like working through a window while standing in dark lot.

Not concerned for new guest safety!

No aminities but Room was clean & simple if just looking for a place to sleep.

Guests/customers were locked out from registration room/front desk. Was sent to window on outside of building to pay & sign papers. It was wet & cold, dark area, no security AT ALL for someone to come up behind me & grab my purse or worse! Nice that they were more concerned about their own safety than equally concerned about the safety of guests.they will also make a copy of your driver's license. Not comfortable with that. What do they do with it? I've never been a guest at any hotel where this was the mindset. Very disappointing. I will not be back!

Avoid this hotel.

There was no water pressure or hot water. The hall smelled of cigarettes. The decor was straight out of 1970. I was scared to touch anything. The staff was fine and the location was perfect.

Water. Hot water. No cigarette smell. Updated decor. I bathroom from this era.

A gross kind of dirty, sink plunger broken, toilet clogged, bed horrible, hot water broken, smelled like smoke, broken towel rack, broken tv stand, the refrigerator was intentionally not plugged in to save cost and it spoiled the milk I placed in the non-functioning refrigerator. A really horrible experience and was price gouged on top of that for a local event this weekend

This is a rent by the hour hotel charing premium prices.
