Excellent value for money at a wonderful and friendly family-run motel.

The family that has run the motel for many years is wonderful -- friendly, helpful and very kind! Rooms are unexpectedly quite large, AC chillingly effective, everything is well-cleaned and simply works. Location simply can't be beat if you're coming for the College -- it is directly across the street. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but if you're OK or better with typical American motel architecture, this is a fantastic value for the money!

We wished the pool had been open during our stay, because it was quite warm in early June.

Couldn’t use room that we paid for!

Could not use room because there was limited parking and places to locally go due to a graduation training place nearby. Hotel and Booking.com would not let us cancel when we called early to voice our concerns. Paid for a room we couldn’t use!

Couldn’t even use the room! Could not cancel, even though we called before check in time.

Good

Room was clean and everything in the room functioned properly. It is old so few electrical outlets and very small bathroom. WiFi was intermittent which was frustrating. Coffee wasnt restocked in room each day. The location is very good as it is close to downtown.

Its a decent motel - though you definitely get what you pay for.

The location is great and the staff were very helpful and considerate.

With a significant upgrade in the property this would be a great spot. As is, its pretty rundown and musty, but generally fine. Hot water, decent beds, large room.

Friendly, courteous, professional, very clean. Nice warm room. Quiet.

No breakfast. Left during a snow storm from drive way already plowed. I left @ 6:30 am

The motel has been starved off investment. It is a shame because the location is second to none.

The best thing about the motel is the location which is five minutes walk from Sage Hall, our son's dorm.

1. There is no coffee or tea making facility in the room although there is a microwave. Nothing 2. There is no breakfast at all or tea or coffee in the reception area - so on waking, one has to drive or walk to Tunnel City Coffee on Spring street to get a coffee. There is no other place. We had just come from three weeks of travel through Scotland, England and Wales and this was the only location with no such amenities. 3. This is also the only hotel/motel I've ever stayed in where there is no comforter cover whatsoever. There is a fitted bedsheet, a top sheet, but the white comforter is left as is, with being encased in a cover! 4. The railing for the stairs going to the upstairs (in the main part of the motel) are rickety. 4. It is very very expensive when you consider points 1-3 above!

Disappointing.

Location was close to Williams College.

There was trash in the refrigerator freezer section upon check in. The light in the bathroom did not work well. The metal pull chain should not be in a bathroom. No one to call to fix.

Next time we will look for different options in the area.

Great location. It is next to Williams College. Hot water was ample. Air conditioning unit was quiet. Least expensive in the area.

Bed was uncomfortable. Power strip fell apart. Fire/smoke detector hanging by wires from the ceiling. Could hear the people in the room next to us.

We were told there was a coffee maker in the room and the was none, no toilet paper, chairs were stained very bad.

My PMC start in Williamstown

Staff was incredibly friendly. It was close to where I needed to be the next morning. The motel is quirky in a charming way with the center staircase in the main building.

The shower was a little small - but not bad.

Pleasant

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even giving us waters as we checked in. They had a fire pit for use out front and a big parking lot. It was easy to find and easy access to points of interest.

The rooms were a bit outdated, some of the plugs didn’t work, and the room could have been cleaned better.. we found two things from previous guests.

I think if they would update the rooms this would be a really nice place to stay.

The location is great, The bed was comfortable and I like the way the room is set up with everything you need.

The rooms are outdate and have a bit of order and I think its because of the carpet.

Very good

The room was very clean. They style was updated but the bathroom was not. The bed was the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on.

The only thing I did not like was the office hours. I did not come in contact with a single staff member. When I arrived around 10pm the office was closed and I did the self check in. Fine, but I had to leave by 9 am and the office wasn't going to be open until 1230. I just left at 9.
