The property is so colorful! There is a beautiful courtyard and porch area to bring a beverage or meal to enjoy the outdoors with banana trees and art. The historic rooms have gorgeous touches with intricate lamps and sweet touches. The staff are all warm, personable, and incredibly helpful. It is the perfect distance from downtown where it is quiet at night but a short 5 minute drive to Bourbon st. There are even walkable delicious restaurants walking distance as well. We will definitely be coming back!

This place was perfect to stay. Unlike big chain hotels it was charming, warm and added to the experience of New Orleans. It is in walkable distance to all touristic places (or cheap car service ride or short historic tram ride). The staff is great. We loved breakfast - yogurt had fresh berries, there were hot quiches, etc. It is a historic budling, so it is old. Our room had cool décor, it was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. I would love to come back.

The atmosphere and decor in this place we're above and beyond our hopes. It was quaint and cozy. The location was perfect for what we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the staff were so helpful.

There was no way to close the curtains for privacy as the courtyard neighbors could possibly see in.

Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming & very informative regarding what to see & do in New Orleans. The room was very comfortable & clean. I would most definitely stay here on my next visit to New Orleans.

Unique, clean room, parking

Wonderful location, great room, amazing bed, friendly staff, safe neighborhood full of restaurants!

When we were there, the streets near the guesthouse were entirely torn up. This was due to extensive ongoing construction. We had to walk in the street, very close to cars. It felt unsafe at times.

Hotel with a lot of character making it much better than standard hotels. Rooms are spacious, well lit, and comfortable. The breakfast selection is small but great to start the day. The staff are very welcoming and try their best to accommodate to requests. Location is convenient, walking distance (20 min) to French quarter. Parking is available and easy.

We lost power twice and had to be reset by the front desk.

The facility keeps the historic aspect of NOLA with the building in its original structure from years ago.

I wish I packed a little bit lighter because there's no elevator to the second floor
