The restaurant was good
Disappointed. We stayed in Shepard room. Our room wasn’t clean, dusty with dirty cushions, we didn’t want to sit on it. They should be replaced. This is not 4 star hotel. See the pics.

The inn is absolutely beautiful, you can book a private dinner if you wish or eat in the dining room, there are also great restaurants in the area, if you don't want yo eat at the inn. The staff is always helpful with choices, even if it's a weekday and some places are closed. (winter does that). Cozy and romantic. great breakfast choices, Lots of nearby shopping, water sports, boating and hiking,(in the summer). We've stayed twice 1st time in the erlowest suite 2nd in the Horicon both were really nice. Next time I want the Montcalm suite. Well Worth the travel time and money. If your looking for a romantic getaway you won't be dissatisfied.
There are weddings a lot and sone areas are closed off for them. Wish they offered breakfast outside in the igloos in the winter.

Food and bar service was exceptional. Everything from the chef, server, bartender and restaurant manager far exceeded our expectations. Front desk staff was terrific as well.
This was our second visit. Everything was beyond exceptional except for the pillows. They are hard as a rock (my significant other said like bricks) and took firm to a new level. Not at all comfortable.

Liked the location and atmosphere of the inn, enjoyed looking at the history of the Inn and village of lake George. Also liked having a parking spot reserved.

We stayed in the erlowest suite, it was beautiful the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the fireplace outside was absolutely beautiful, dinner and breakfast we're delicious.

The staff, room, breakfast and the quiet location was amazing, the nicest place we ever visited! We our definitely returning next fall and booking the shepherd room.

The location was excellent. Close to everything we wanted.
The breakfast was over the top. We loved the cream puffs. Having the ability to choose which breakfast you preferred was a nice option
Our server was so pleasant and accommodating.
When we arrived there was a wedding party leaving on a bus. I felt like we were intruding while checking in. Which was not the case. Of course the wedding at night took over the outside patio, which again didn’t bother us because we did not intend to sit outside. I really can not give a negative comment. We loved it there.

The breakfast and dinners were Delicious. The staff was very friendly. They had kayaks to use on Lake George. The views from the property were beautiful

The staff seemed new mostly , the breakfast order situation was not clear ,we did swim in the lake but lots of goose poops , too bad the front lawn to the lake is now with cabins and boats this had the feeling of the water not being as clean as we remember in our past on the lake . Folks were helpful and the building is beautiful , our dinner was very good , would be a nice place upstairs for a gathering . Happy a one night visit is available .

it’s ambiance, the location, the amenities and cleanliness of the room. it’s such a beautiful, quiet, secluded place for anyone, especially those trying to get a quick getaway.

The Inn has always treated us well. Staff are attentive, friendly, warm and welcoming. The rooms are cozy. The food is exceptional.
There’s really not much to say negatively about the Inn. It’s a charming spot that my wife and I adore. The only things is we wish they were open for dinner for more days of the week. And the prices were a little cheaper. But you get what you pay for here and it’s well worth it.

beautiful grounds to walk. amazing breakfast, which was included. staff was friendly. room was clean and comfortable bed in the Sheppard room.

Hade to go down 4x to get fire place to
Work. Went downstairs 2 times to get tv to work. It was disconnected Hot tub very high for seniors really need rails to get in and out of tub. I ordered a chicken breast for dinner I got leg / thigh. . That’s just a few things

The property was beautiful and nicely decorated. The woodwork throughout was gorgeous.
We thought the breakfast was lacking. It was either store bought or boxed mixes and we were not impressed. After having their breakfast, we were very glad we didn’t get dinner there!
