I really enjoyed my stay here and how the place felt like an oasis.

The property was really well kept and very affordable.

The rooms were a little dusty.

I'm not an elvis guy but i was impressed with the elvis suite and the decor. the space was amazing.

I didnt' meet the owners but check-in was super easy, they promised to be available but i had no needs. lovely location, the bywater is v cool.

HIDDEN GEM! the innkeeper Kelly was super nice. you can tell they put a lot of work into keep the place nice. super comfortable. 11/10 if I could!

Very good

I chose this place for the neighborhood, which was fantastic. The inn itself had quirks that could be annoying - like a loud train whistle at night, squeaky shower, dim lighting in room, and thin walls. These are clearly features of an old house, but worth noting. The hot tub and pool area were really nice, though quite small.

We loved our stay at the Lookout Inn and hope to return!

The inn was a peaceful, lovely haven for us. We took a small part of each day to relax in the pool and hot tub. Kelly was so helpful and readily available for guidance.

Beautiful and sweet accommodations

The lookout inn is one of the best places I have ever stayed and I travel a lot! The inn owner is extremely accommodating and very personable, she made everything very easy for us. The inn is so cute, even more amazing than the pictures. I loved the outdoor pool area with everything you could want including water and coffee! Our room was big, beautiful, and very comfortable. There are plenty of delicious eateries and parks nearby. I can’t recommend this inn enough! I will be back🙂

Great value for the comfort overall, but would’ve liked it better with more amenities.

I loved the charm of the room, the size, the bed was very comfortable… and the bathroom was beautiful.

I didn’t like that it was situated near a train station and the train woke me up at 4:30am. I also didn’t like the lights in the hallway coming in the room. The stylized windows were beautiful but when I wanted to sleep it was annoying to have them on. I also didn’t like that the hot tub was not on!

Fun themed rooms. A little oasis in the city. Very nice place to stay and budget friendly.

The themed room was very interesting and had cool memorabilia. The spa/pool area was nice and relaxing. Check in was easy and owner was really friendly. Comfortable stay for the most part.

The room was extremely warm right after checking in. The cleanliness of the room could have been a little better. Fridge needed extra cleaning and the shower curtain was in need of replacing. The coffee pot was in need of an upgrade. No microwave in the room. The TV was extremely small and located so we couldn't watch TV in bed. Wife didn't care for the bed, and I didn't care for the pillows. We were warned about the train via the reviews prior to booking but it was still much louder than we expected. Felt the building shake a few times. I would recommend requesting what suite you want if it's available. For some reason we got switched into the Elvis suite last minute and we're not really big into Elvis. Would have preferred one of the other rooms just as personal preference.

Great place, amazing rooms. Just bad location due to being next to the railway lines

The owner Kelly is an amazing host! The location is awesome Loved the concept themed rooms. We were in Elvis Great pool and hot tub

The location is next to train tracks. Trains honk a lot through the night. Sensitive sleepers might be affected

We don’t leave home without him and dogs are allowed owner very kind and friendly, responsive and helpful Interesting architectural property with fun decor touches. Nice entertaining relaxing courtyard area with pool and hot tub Convenient location

Lovely stay in the Bywater neighbourhood

Cute inn, the suite has a ton of space, and everything was clean. We used the hot tub in the back patio, but not the pool (although we would have liked to - just not enough time!). The owner lives on site and is quick to respond to messages. The inn is in a residential area and a close walk to cafes, restaurants, and pubs

We would have liked to have a safe in the room but not a huge deal overall.

The Lookout Inn is a unique and affordable stay. Nothing fancy, but fun and everything you need.

Kelley the Inn keeper was so kind and welcoming. The room was a great size.

There were stains on the mattress protector as well as the covers. The room also needs a good dusting/deep clean.

A NOLA Haven

It was so close to EVERYTHING! The property had everything you could possibly think of, from OFF (for mosquitoes) all the way to coffee for those brisk, yet muggy Nola mornings. It was very clean, quiet, and quaint. They decorated the inn for the upcoming holiday (Halloween) which always gives me a warm feeling. The wonderful couple’s dog Percy even made a friendly appearance! Also, there’s a bar about 2 houses down that was perfect for our late arrival! The wings and drinks were killer! And the owners of the bar were very hospitable. This will definitely be me and my fiancé’s new spot when we visit NOLA.
