I expected better.

I didn’t eat there.

Roaches in kitchen and countertop. One small roach came home with me. Found it crushed in my computer bag.

This was the first and last time I will ever stay at a Candlewood Suites.

The staff was kind. There was a mix up with the type of room we booked vs. what they gave us. They fixed it immediately.

The halls and room smelled like old marinara. The halls were filled with noisey people into the early hours of the morning. The people above us never went to sleep and you could hear them dragging the chairs across the floor all night. Neither myself or my colleague slept. We woke up as early as we could and checked out.

Would stay again

My room was very spacious and comfortable. I appreciated that the room came with dishes

The thermostat in the bedroom did not work. I would have appreciated having bottles of water in the room upon arrival instead of having to go downstairs and buy them

No bathtub I seen a roach in the bathroom The deposit was not mentioned Wasn’t honored an early check in Hallways smelled horrible

Stay was fine. Billing sucked. Incapable of handling reservations from Booking.com

They were unable to handle the fact that I paid for two rooms via booking.com. I had to charge the second room again on my credit card to get into the room. Reception promised that they would cancel the charge once their system was able to provide the room and key. They did not. The charge was not removed from my credit card bill despite two additional appeals. I had to challenge the charge directly with my credit card company.

Great place to stay for business or a vacation!

The entire facility was clean and was very relaxing. The room was outstanding, especially for the cost, and even though I was only staying one night, it would be great for a longer stay. I would highly recommend staying here whether its for business or pleasure.

Filthy hotel room

The room was absolutely filthy. There was a dog toy and other toys left behind. The air conditioning smelled like vomit. The kitchen was covered in salt. The floor of the shower was brown from dirt. There was a lot of hair on the sheets and a white substance splattered on the bed skirt. As you walk in the room there was a pink splatter on the wall. It was by far the dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in.

Room size

3/11/23 Was given key to occupied room.initially. then returned to get another key for another room. Room and hallway was engulfed in Marijuana smoke. Burning eyes and throat for hours. Staff just sprayed.hallway! In Richmond every weekend for Church sadly Will not stay again at Candlewood!

Overall the stay was comfortable, convenient location, other than the extremely high holding charge after making reserva

The location was very convenient.

I had an unexpected extremely high holding fee charge . I did my reservations through booking.com, I’m used to maybe a $50 holding fee charge when checking in for security reasons if anything happens to the room , however their charge was a fee of $200, just about the same price of getting the room , only that particular location. When making reservations, you don’t expect to have to have a charge at all or for an amount like that . In which I couldn’t cover it , so I had to get it from a family member or they wouldn’t have allowed me to even stay even when I had reservations. A big disappointment and inconvenience all in one .

It was a good place to rest.

Nice clean spacious room. Cute mini kitchen. Had everything you need to cook a nice meal. Staff was very kind.

Short staffed. (I understand thats just how it is.) TV wouldn't connect to internet my whole stay. ( 3 days)They didnt know how to fix it. No Netflix. No Hulu. No HBO. No youtube. Did have some channels have a few channels. Made being in the room boring.

my bed fitted sheet was pilled all over on top. had to throw a top sheet over it. no breakfast next morning
