The cabin came with so much, staff was really kind, and the late check in process was amazing. Definitely coming back in summer.
The wifi wasnt that fast but who needs social media when you got so much nature to look at.

nice surrounding.
the cabin needed some paint. nearby a gas station but pretty expensive.

the location is great. the cabin is comfortable enough for 2 people. great for spending the time around with a lot to view and walk and close enough to get early in the morning to anywhere in Yosemite Park. It's equipped enough for inside cooking and outside grilling. Heating works perfectly on winter.
Wi-Fi never worked. don't try it, you will get charged (refunded few days later).

Hot nice shower, nice heated room. Friendly face upon arrival.
No internet (even though I tried multiple times to connect to the satellite connection) and uncomfortable bed . Arrival only till 7 pm. Luckily arrived in time.

the only redeeming quality was it was so close to the park entrance. about a 15 min drive.
cabin was DIRTY. the fan was covers in black dust, stove didn't work, the blankets were riddled with gunk. the futon was ripped and not cleaned. i paid for the wifi and it didn't work in more than 2 minute intervals. they also had a 'planned' power outage that wasn't communicated and shut off everything. so dissatisfied, next time i'll stay in the park.

Location and proximity to Yosemite was decent. The kitchen was stocked with useful utensils, pots, and pans. Dish soap and a some were even provided. I think the description says towels aren't provided, but there were towels and a blanket, sheet, and pillows. Cabin was clean when we arrived. There is a store at the top of the road. Has a Gas station, firewood, ice, and some basic groceries. Hours change based on season. Don't trust Google maps on this one. I had thought they closed at 6pm, but they close at 10 during the summer. Businesses should update hours on Google maps when they change.
This place has a lot of activities. Though, I would hope people are spending more time enjoying all the wonderful sights in the area. It's run by Thousand Trails. Wish I knew that ahead so I could get more information from their website up front, including a campground map.
The central air conditioner in this unit wasn't working. They provided a portable AC unit which was a bit too small for this space. It could not keep the unit cool during the day. Wasn't a big problem for me as it was out sightseeing during the day. Some minor issues with some bathroom trim and the closet doors. The shower is hard to turn off and drops most of the time. These are minor issues but I would think are easy fixes. I could not get the bbq going. It's connected to a propane source from the cabin and the valve looked on, but no sound of gas coming out when turned on. The kitchen and bathroom faucets were left on by housekeeping.
Wifi is available but it's located by the laundry facility near the front office. It's hit and miss from the parking lot. Many people go there to use the wifi and end up going inside to connect. It's fairly slow. I'd stick to mostly text and calls as needed. Or if you need to access the web or Google maps to help decide on places to go in the area.

It’s a great choice if you like to stay in the cabin with everything you need. The location is perfect. It you are heading the park on CA120, turn right on Yosemite Lake Road, driving down hill and you will find the check in office. There is a Velaro gas station on the right side of CA120 and that is the entrance to go down hill. Bring your food to cook inside the cabin since there is kitchen, refrigerator and BBQ grill. Go out side to see the stars after dark and it’s unforgettably beautiful.
It’s only 10 min drive to the park entrance on Old Oak Flat Road. It will take another 40 mins to get to Yosemite Village after entering the park entrance. There are also trails and a creek on site. Perfect for an evening walk.

I loved the fact that even during off season they were still ready to help you out with whatever you needed. Such a great site

Fantastic location just outside the park gate. It was in a beautiful valley surrounded by trees and a river which was so peaceful and relaxing. The little cabin had everything we needed as people from outside of the US without camping equipment. It also heated up very well in the night when the temperature dropped.
Our only issue was with noise at night from some animals but not unexpected given the location!
