Leave well alone!
Location, other than that I would give this property a huge miss.
Where to start, dreadful. Extremely dated, door locks not working, blinds broken, very old furniture, what furniture it did have was heavily stained. The narrow kitchen counter was so old, cups, plates etc stuck to the surface for some odd reason. Air con units held together with white tape. Majority of plugs not working and those that did, gave off a white spark. Photos added but do not correspond with the areas in the room. Far more dreadful photos taken but limited to what can be added. Will be making a formal complaint to Booking.com

I wouldn’t rent this place if I just graduated high school and was poor.
Proximity to beach
It was an absolute disgusting mess of a place. Every single thing needed updating. Ridiculous how pathetic the overall condition was. Like staying in a crack house for the weekend. Ended up spending more money to stay somewhere else for part of the time.

It was just an old property, but we knew what to expect

We will be back and stay there again.
We liked our room with the well appointed kitchen, full size refrigerator, range with oven, full size sink and a microwave. The air conditioning units were working properly, in both the bedroom and the living room with the sofa bed. the rooms were very clean and there was plenty of closet space. We liked that we could go out through the back door in the kitchen to the back courtyard and from them to the outdoors seating and grilling area. The beach is right in front through the sand walk without having to cross any streets. I felt very safe at all hours, I enjoyed my 5:00 a.m. walk to the beach to pray & greet the sunrise. My family and I loved the place, we wanted a family oriented quiet place, friendly and not too expensive and the Sands of Treasure Island exceeded our expectations. I loved seeing the parents with their children, the adults having a great time. The location is perfect, there is a Publix supermarket within walking distance. My group had guests over from another hotel for dinner and we used the hotel's grilling area and everybody loved seating outside while we grilled steaks and vegetables, it was memorable. There are plenty of restaurants to go to if one doesn't feel like cooking and we did that too, all within the hotel's vicinity. The Staff is very attentive and ready to help. We needed some utensils for grilling and I only mentioned it once and Rachel immediately came out with what we needed and more. They are all so nice and friendly, no a single grouchy face. This hotel has a history and we could see original features of the 1940's design. In the bathroom medicine cabinet there's a razor blade disposal slot which hasn't been in use for decades. Moreover, there's a very short and neat in-wall fold down iron table from that period of time, not longer installed in any "modern" design. I was in awe when I figured out what those items were and their antiquity.
The main courtyard could use some lawn care, Not that it mattered to us but some decorating features could be upgraded -like the curtains. The curtains would do a better job at blocking light if they hung better. We had to prop cushions from the sofa bed against them to keep them closed. But we didn't let that bother us. I remember something that was annoying, the TV's, the remote controls were not the most user friendly.
