Perfect Stay at the Sea

The apartment is located right in front of the beach (2-minute walk to the sea). All the cafes and restaurants and a supermarket were close by (15 minute walk max). The host was very helpful and attentive, he was there for us whenever we had a question or a request. All the rooms are air conditioned, and the property is pet friendly. We stayed with two cats.

Location,

The offer does not correspond to reality. Apartment in the basement, which we found out on the spot, size for two people (we were four), all-day pump noise in the bedroom. Broken sofa, screeching bed.

Superb

Nice view, the beach is close as well as the ferry dock (10-15 min walk), Kind host, and a cute dog in the garden. AC in every room.

The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking. Some doors were hard to handle and one matress was uncomfortable, you could feel (and also hear) the springs in it.

Amazing

Amazing location, straight behind the forest of an 11km beach with views towards Thassos island ☺️ The place was exceptionally clean and there is everything you could possibly need on a vacation. The hosts are really kind and helpful. There is a supermarket 5mins walk from the accommodation and a restaurant just behind the corner. The nearest beach bar is lovely and you could use the sunbeds and umbrellas for free if you purchase drinks from there. Will definitely come back 😍 P.S. There are plenty of mosquitos which bite a lot in the evening, so a good repellent is needed for the evening walks.

it’s a matter of context and availability - in high season it could be a good enough compromise but outside of it I cann

clean, proximity to the beach, nice balcony view, kitchenette

box coming out of the bedroom floor - real hazard to injury; stumbled a couple of times living in a mansard: seagulls screaming as soon as sun is coming up - 5am I mean - will wake one up as soundproofing is poor; need to climb the stairs for two floors when you’re coming back all tired from the beach too; banging the head in the ceiling (I’m not tall) few times, especially at night ; weather was kind to us but I could see how hot can get during high season.

Relaxing holiday with beautiful view and yummy food.

The property is spacious, three bedrooms, one bathroom and big living room with kitchen. It’s perfect for two families. There was full set of appliances, big fridge and barbecue outside. Big terrace with table and chairs where you can enjoy the view. The location was perfect - beachfront. You could see the Thasos island. There are pine trees between the houses and the beach which makes the view even more beautiful. The owners were quite responsive. We also found a tavern at the port where the portion size was unbelievably enormous.

The coffee maker worked with specific capsules we had to buy, but most of the stores were closed due to holidays. I’d recommend the owners to leave a few capsules for their guests for the first day at least so that they don’t have to search the town to find the right ones. It can be calculated in the price.

The apartment it’s really nice with sea view. You can find everything which you need during you’re stay. The host it’s very friendly and warm. We really enjoyed our stay. I recommend it.

Exactly what we wanted.

The hosts were very communicative, concerned to satisfy our every wish. Everything was very clean. The place is quiet and well located in front of the beaches.

Excellent location, a few minutes from a lovely beach. The host Katherina is extremely polite and helpful.

Internet access is a disaster, both WiFi and Mobile data. But I think the whole neighborhood is suffering from this.

A calm place to relax in this teeming world

The apartment has a very good location, about 60m to the sea. The beach is a wide sandy (real sand, not small stone) coast. Our flat was at the first flour. We were there with 4children and 3 adults, and had enough place. It has beautifull and large balkony with view to the sea, to the garden and to the small street before the house. The location is calm, but close enough to a Mini Market (5min) or the centre,which is about 15min by walk. The owners were very friendly and helpfull.

Quiet location, next to the beach

The place was clean, quiet, incredibly spacious and offered a great view. We all felt right at home because the hosts made sure all our needs were met (there was even detergent in the bathroom, right next to the washing machine). The beach is 1 minute walk from the doorstep in a straight line. Plenty of parking space and the kindest hosts you could wish for. I would definitely recommend staying there, you will not regret it.

Exceptional

The view is amazing. You can see Thassos island, directly from the living room/kitchen. The apartment was clean, the people there are very kind and helpful. It's quiet and not on the main road where all the cars taking the ferry arw going. We will deffinetly come back again. Thank you for the memories!

It's not something that you can avoid, the pollen during this period (mid-end April) is quite a lot and the air was sometimes full, but it's nothing that anyone can do.

Incredible location and hosts!

The house is right across the street from the beach, with a gorgeous view of Thassos. There’s a nice little backyard with tables, if you’d like to have dinner or breakfast outside. We were in the basement apartment and had a porch out front with a bench and coffee table. We rented the 1-bedroom 2-bed unit - two of us were in the bedroom and the other two - on the big pull-out couch in the living room. Both beds were super comfortable! The living room is open-concept so we had to keep in mind who’s waking up when, and the bathroom had a blurred-glass window to the bedroom, which was funny - but we made it work! Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was fully equipped- stove, oven, microwave, Tassimo capsule coffee machine, fridge. Washing machine and stand-in shower in the bathroom. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine and were super sweet and responsive throughout our stay if we ever had any questions or issues. We definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to be back in the future!

Excellent holiday!

The apartment is very close to the beach and a beautiful small pine forest. It's suitable for travelling with children, who can play on the small terrace in front of the apartment or in the inner courtyard. The host, Katarina, was very kind to us and helped us with useful information about the location. Also, if you need anything, she will be happy to assist you.

Recommend and will visit again :)

The location is more than perfect. The apartment was awesome. Big and comfortable. There was everything needed for a perfect family holiday. There was even a baby chair provided which we uses during eating time.

There were two electricity problems during our stay. So I think the electricity network could be improved since we were not actually using a lot of tools which consumed too many power but the second time the electricity went totally off. Another area of improvement is the insects and the bugs. There a lot of them outside and tend to come inside as well. So we needed to buy Raid and insect powder to stop them from coming inside. So something like this could be done on regular basis to reduce the bugs from coming home. And last thing - a curtain in the bathroom will make the bathroom life a lot more easier to maintain it clean and dry. It was really difficult to keep the bathroom dry.

We will come back

The souterain appartment is located directly at the beach street, with beach view from the terrace. Here the beach street is very quiet in contrast to appartments closer to center of Keramoti. So we can recommend it to all people, who seek a quiet place. The hosts are very friendly and the niece Katarina who is fluent in english took care of us and all our wishes. The appartment is modern and well equipped also with kitchen tools, so if desired you can cook for yourself. For sure we will stay again here, if it is not occupied by someone who read this review :-) Kermoti itself has a nice long beach and is good starting point, if you interessted in birding. Things to do: Visit Filipi, Kayking on the nestos river with Riverland Adventures, Hiking at the nestos gorge. Birding at Port Lagos and surroundings

Only people with very light sleep, might get disturbed by the muted noise of the waterpump.
