Very clean and polished
Everything was so overpriced and they charged an additional cleaning fee. It seemed more expensive than California. And it’s not….

What I like about the property is that it is centrally located to food & shopping.
I didn’t like that the property didn’t notify the guest in a timely matter that water would be shut down from 11p-5a. It just so happen the day I checked in I didn’t get to Atlanta until 10p so I didn’t check in until 10:40p to learn I have NO WATER at 10:40p for the next 13 hours is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Had I been alerted of the issue I could have found other accommodations. Also the kitchen- room service closes too early. Considering it’s a lively hotel and the bar stays open later it be again considerate to have a late night menu - food service.

Room. Staff. Location. Pool. Almost everything was perfect.
Breakfast can be better - it's a la carte without too many options, no vegan options, service a bit slow, and it wasn't especially tasty. Other than that, everything in the hotel was perfect.

Breakfast was good
I was told that I would be getting valet at no cost but when I checked out the clerk disputed me down because she didn’t see any nots in the system and they don’t give free valet. But I know what was told to me upon checking. I asked if they did anything special for birthdays and I was a convoy member. She said if they knew in advance and then she said we will give you complimentary valet. So I guess you can’t believe what is told to you by staff unless it’s in the notes.

The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool it was clean and nice and they have a hot tub. The staff was nice and I valeted my car and they retrieved it in a timely manner.

The buffet was not that great. After dinner in the bar/lounge, I expected a lot more.
The oatmeal was overcooked and there were no non pork meat options.

Location great - but only local shuttle service is Thursday - Saturday. Food was very good, but it is provided by another company, not Marriott, which owns the Whitley - although they don't make that known on Website or in promotions.
I ordered a King room on high floor through Booking.com. Room we got was king, but only about half way up this large bullding. Our room had nice bedding, but was very narrow and small. Room was old, had not been renoved in many years. The toilet was inexpensive Koehler and seat flopped. Very small closet required opening a heavy, wooden door. Mini-cooler was not a mini-fridge. It was very small and not cool enough to keep food or drinks cold. I suspect king rooms on higher floors were renovated and larger - probably higher price than what's offered on Booking.com site. Still, we paid more than $230 for one night. Two branded Marriotts are each within 2 blocks of the Whitley and less costly. Dining room was not open on Sunday night, as there were not many guests in hotel, so we had to eat in the bar or leave the hotel. We chose the bar and food was good, but prices very high. Monday's breakfast in the dining room was nothing special and cost about $80 for two persons (including a good tip), as the service was very good.

Beautiful property with decent sized rooms, pool, sauna, gym, bar on site.
The front desk staff were not very pleasant. Never fully explained the charges. I believe the manager was the nicest one to work with and made me feel welcomed to the hotel. The other staff members came off as if they did not want to be at work upon arrival and checkout. Other than that the bartenders, valet attendants were all very nice.

The location and staff were really good.
I was not impressed with the room at all or the in room dining. Room service was provided by the on-site restaurant but the food was not good at all. The waffles appeared to be mini pre packaged waffles that were hard and not the quality I was expecting from a luxury hotel. I paid 60 dollars for 3 mini waffles, a bowl of potatoes, orange juice and cranberry juice. For those prices the food should at least be good.

The location is great for the Peachtree Road Race.

Always friendly staff at the front check in. The stay is always comfortable. The rooms are always clean and very welcoming.
Paid wifi- free wifi for guests would be a great suggestion to add in for more value.

Kind staff and beautiful facility.
No public parking. No freezer nor microwave in the room. The shower was missing a screw and make a horrible screeching noise when opening or closing the door.

There a huge cockroach in our room that crawled out of the AC vent in the evening. Photo attached. Maybe the building has a cockroach problem. Absolutely revolting for a luxury hotel.
