we loved the location, the tranquility of the place, the little casitas
The motor golf carts that the stuff were using were making too much noise like motorcycles!
We were told that the beach was too far down like 125 steps or more to go and not meant to be for swimming, and it wasn’t taken care of at all!
They could have had some sun-beds that the clients could use to enjoy the view that was simply amazing!
They could have some service in the swimming pool, to order drinks, towels etc.
The service of the restaurant was very slow and the stuff was very loud among themselves shouting and socializing and not respecting the quietness that the clients would like to enjoy. They should buy an espresso machine for the restaurant because we were told that only the golf club was serving espresso.
The lap-pool needed some chairs and umbrellas and a shower.

Gorgeous location and villa with your own pool. Food was first rate. Perfect for a romantic get away or relaxing.

Very romantic and private. Have beautiful spots for picnic near the edge of the cliffs with great scenery. Staff very friendly. I would definitely come back. great for biking in the property.
Two things:
1. During our dinner (two times), some of the employees were too loud disrupting the peace and ambience. I think it was in the area near the kitchen. They were talking, laughing and having discussions. We asked to me moved from seat, and had a seat near the outside bar.
2. We had a romantic evening at the mini pool. Opened up a bottle of wine and some insect was walking around the bottle of wine minutes after we opened it up. It fell to the water and I took it out. in the morning there were two huge cockroaches within each glass of leftover wine….. I think they should fumigate more often.

The location is superb, extremely peaceful with astonishing views. I am terribly disappointed for not staying before at this marvelous place.
Overall there was nothing to dislike. The level of attention to detail surpassed my expectations.

Peaceful, the restaurant food is the best
The parking areas need to be improved. The management of the restaurant account was terrible, I was about to be billed over $200 in food I didn’t consume

Jota restaurant is excellent and Fatima, the waitress, awesome
Service. We had to ask two times for the cleaning

The pool at the casita is great and we spent much of our time relaxing there. The food was very good, room service was always on time and service at the restaurant was consistently good as well.
I’m a non- golfer and would have liked more options for hiking and ecotourism on the hotel grounds and in the area (beyond the 190 or so steps). A more detailed map of the grounds and environs for those who are interested, small group tours (including of the 190 steps) and more information on the area’s ecology would be plus. The emphasis on golf tourism is understandable as a business strategy, but could be better balanced with ecotourism.

The waiting time of the restaurant. Also it opens to late. They must has a good coffee maker in house. This is an opinion just to level up the excellence of the experience at Royal Isabella.

Lacks maintenance of rooms and common areas, short staffed so service can improve. Offer more amenities and services like food in the Pool, beach services, etc

We had an excellent experience as we had expected. Facilities, food, ambiance and service were great.,
We needed more lighting going out or into our house at night.
