Everything was good. It is recommended to put a ceiling fan in the bedroom downstairs because it was pretty stuffy down there. I also think a hand railing could be of benefit on the stairs going to the lower level. I would consider staying at this property again.

We had a great time the kids enjoyed the pool, but it could use a few more pots and pans for those of us that like to cook. Will definitely stay again

Had a great weekend away from the city with family. Would definitely stay again. There were a few items leftover from a previous stay under a couch, but other than that, the place was great!

My two daughters and their small children joined us for a family get together at this midway point. The kids loved the pool, and the ping pong table in the basement was an added bonus. The kitchen was well appointed and our host was accommodating. Overall a great stay.
Just one note - we had a very curious and active 13 month old baby in our party. The open staircase to the basement and a large open vat on the deck were constant safety concerns for her. Great house for older kids, but be prepared if you have a toddler in your group.

The property itself is really nice and space is excellent. If you are needing a space to accommodate 5-8ish this is a good option. Well-kept but it may be worth sending messages the day or so before your stay to ensure that the owner knows you are coming. We showed up and there was somebody else currently staying in the residence. The owner did everything possible to remedy the situation immediately though and our stay was great otherwise.

The kitchen table allowed us to all eat together. Kids loved the ping pong table in the basement. Giant City State park was a quick drive. Would suggest bringing extra outside chairs for sitting on the deck (if you have more than 5 people & planning on being outside all at once). Also WiFi was a little slow, but fine for vacation mode.

We are so happy we picked this place for the long weekend!!! My family went to the area to spread the ashes of my father who passed away so it was often an overwhelming and emotional trip... but this property felt like home which made things easier. The property was clean and well appointed and the layout was spacious and comfortable. The property itself was on a quiet peaceful piece of land with some curious wildlife that we would wake up to (deer and rabbits and raccoons at night) so it was so nice to be able to come back to this place and be able to relax and just enjoy the space. With the back of the property being heavily wooded we got to feel like we were secluded and out with nature without truly being out in the middle of nowhere. We had some visitors come by and they thought the property was great too so we all plan to come back for family vacations once or twice a year. Couldn’t have picked a better place! Highly recommend and I’m a very picky person!!!

The house could use a few updates, but overall it was clean and the layout worked well for our group. The kitchen was decently appointed. Our only complains: there could have been a few more towels and we could not find the WiFi instructions. We emailed the contact to inquiry about WiFi but never heard from him. Overall, it was a comfortable, well appointed house that is perfect for a group or larger family. Would definitely stay again.
