Awaiting refund, Pathetic Dorm Section

I am still awaiting my Refund

1. The dorm and the hostel was pathetic. It was firstly at 3rd floor which was too much to do up down with no lift service. 2. The staff is highly unprofessional. When I asked for my luggage to be sent to my room, it took them 30 40 mins to execute the request. 3. There was no hot water facility in bathroom. When informed about the issue, the response was oh we will give a heater rod for this. Am I paying here to do labour work or what? 4. There was no proper light and fan facility. Socket near bed wasn't working properly. 5. The staff member who also uses bed of female dorm was forcing me to share her food even after me politely saying no at first. Like don't they understand the meaning of a simple No ? 6. When I told about the issue overall I was facing and not satisfied with the services and asked them to refund my money, their response was people come here to meet new people. Like am I paying for a hostel to meet people or for the stay experience ? Over all I did not stay in the hostel and still awaiting for my refund as I shifted to a nearby hostel immediately. Moustache Udaipur is in pathetic condition. Only their rooftop looks nice. But when you see the dorm, it will be a big No no.

The best experience of the whole 10 day Rajasthan trip.

The best thing was the thinking of making the best out of the available space. The lighting, the aura and the space in and around the property was awesome. The best part were the moustache people. They were the best part there. From curating our trips around the city to help explore the city on our own, they made sure that we will want to come back again even if it means just for a day. Worth mentions are Bhuvnesh, Pratham, Sachin and Anant(Chintu). 😜

The parking was a little far but not too far.

Great stay, helpful staff.

Great location, most places are walkable distance and has a great market nearby too. Hostel has cute stray dog they look after which was great too.

The rooms are up to 3 floors with no elevator, they do have a different location nearby with elevator tho so you can upgrade to that.

Los staff para el desayuno no hablan nada de inglés, la experiencia con el desayuno es patetica, pides lo que sea para desayunar y tardan muchísimo. Ej unos huevos fritos tardan como 45 minutos. La habitación tenía mucha humedad

amazing people , amazing place , made me emotional while leaving !

loved the people at the hostel including the receptionists , very friendly made us feel at home ! the rooms were good and the location was very convenient to travel to tourist attractions!

Best hostel experience till date

My first time in udaipur did not feel like first They offer you great hospitality and fun activities/outings. It was my best hostel experience till date the stuff and the volunteer are the game changers they are super friendly, they take you on group tours (hidden gems/ offbeat places) fun to hang around with arrange game nights & movie nights it almost felt like a second home. Bonus it's very very safe for solo female travellers. Special mention to Riya pratham Bhuvanesh Anant and Shivam. Amazing team work catering towards making the place awesome for travellers. Loved the raita hills tour im gonna remember it forever. Not to mention Mr. Rahul ji one of the property owner the most humble and helpful guy i met.

Left with a heavy heart with lots of memories to cherish. Hoping to come back soon.

The location of the property is amazing. It is walking distance from the major attractions in Udaipur like the City palace, Jagdish temple, Gangour ghat, Bagore ki haveli, Ambrai ghat etc which is the best part. The staff is very very friendly and approachable. I had a really great time bonding with the staff and guests in Moustache. The vibe of the entire hostel is amazing. Special mention to: Anant, Shivam, Pratham, Riya, Deepak and others for making my stay so memorable. They suggested me so many unexplored places in Udaipur which was the best part of the trip. Love!

Horrible experience, bad and unhygienic

There was nothing to like in the stay. Overpriced, overhyped and unhygienic. Spare your money on a good hotel, they'll probably charge more but at least you'll get value for your money.

We were group of friends in 3 different rooms. There was no water in one room, no hot water in the other and the third washroom stank terribly. The bedsheets were unclean and the food atop at the restaurant was horrible. Worst experience, these people are scammers and cheaters do not go here.

Bathroom: very average. Bed: makes noise. Old furniture We literally had to beg the people to clean the room

In general, I'd recommend staying at this hotel for a distinctive experience where you can meet others, and the staf

The hostel boasts an excellent location, with notably friendly staff. Its rooftop offers a stunning view, and I found the pricing quite reasonable.

The only suggestion I have is that they should consider having a lift, especially when dealing with heavy bags or accessing rooms on higher floors for food or accommodation.

Great location but very loud

Fantastic location, good sized room with en suite, friendly staff

The window in the bathroom was a screen rather than glass so all the noise from the streets outside could be heard from our bed. This made sleeping very difficult when there were dogs barking and people shouting! I asked for a different quieter room but was told none were available though I could see online that there were a lot of rooms still available. We went up to the rooftop to find the cafe but nothing was set up? Maybe we went at the wrong time. Lastly, we couldn’t get hot water out of the shower.

An eventful, joyful and overall satisfactory stay.

Amazing food with superb vibe and exceptional staff…. The food and drinks were the highlight for me… Ravi from moustache kitchen catered to all our needs….

The rooms are a bit small with no natural ventilation so that can be a problem sometimes.

Room were good. But bit expensive.

No exhaust fan in washroom of private bedroom. Little bit smell is coming from washroom. But if you are couple you should focus on other activity rather than rooms. Just book it 😉

Best stay in Udaipur - not only for backpackers

- cheap restaurants available close by - bookshelf - great cozy common area - free water - got free upgrade because of generous staff

Exceptional

The room is very, very nice. So comfy! We stayed in private room and everything was working and clean. I totally recommend it.

To rooftop is under construction, there is also no restaurant at the moment.

Nothing

No hot water, no wifi and derty room. Always smells of cigarettes. No Worth the money at all. The place is under renovation, everything is dirty and dusty and there is no cooperation from the staff.

Didn't have a good time.

To be honest, I didn't like it much. Only hosts were welcoming and that was the only factor that I liked. Apart from this, it's not a well maintained property. It was Too dark in the common area. To conclude, I expect moustache to be better than this.

Naam bade darshan chote, wont recommend it to anyone.

Naam bade darshan chote vali baat hai. They will charge you for even if you want to sit and have some food ar terrace. The property is full of restrictions at the same time. The staff, manager and owner were very rude

The location was not easy to get in if you have your own vehicle. The rooms were nice but the bathroom were not so good.

The staff was not so adjusting and cooperating.
