From the moment we booked both Cath and Tom could not do enough for us, even helping with airport transfers. The villa is just as stunning as in the photos and it easily accommodated two families.
There are a couple of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, which were ideal.
Would highly recommend this villa.

Beautiful location stunning views, we loved every minute of the villa, amazing service from Tom, Cathy and Korsan. We wish we booked 3 weeks instead of 2! We will 100% be back!

Relaxing getaway in beautiful house.
We spent a week here in September. The house was tastefully and comfortably furnished, gorgeous views over the bay from various balconies and seating areas, lovely pool and there were restaurants within walking distance. The main town, with what seems like hundreds of restaurants, is about 25 mins walk but there were plenty of very cheap taxis if it felt too far to walk back. We hired a car and visited Patara Beach, Saklikent Canyon and Xanthos. Driving outside the neighbourhood was very easy but the road leading to the villa was extremely steep. Our hosts organised a transfer from the airport and then the hire car was dropped to us the next day. Would highly recommend this as initially the last couple of streets to the villa felt a bit hard to navigate.
The managing agents were very responsive and could help with any aspect of our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa. The views are unbeatable and the overall impression of the villa is very good indeed. The daily bread delivery was a nice touch.
Toward the end of our stay we visited the closest beach club Kulube which is right at the bottom of the hill and low key compared to Kalamar which is more kid friendly due to watersports, etc. I think if we had seen Kulube at the beginning, we may have gone more often as it is so quiet (June - no school holidays, we were all adults). The only downside if you have mobility problems is the proximity to the town centre if you want to walk, about 15 minutes, and there are steps almost everywhere. (But taxis are plentiful and good value).
One of our party broke her ankle a week before our stay and was on crutches, so that made the roof terrace restaurants out of bounds!
Be sure to take a boat from the harbour for a day trip. If you have a few in a party, a private hire is good value and lunch included.
One point about Kalkan is that if you want proper sandy beaches this isn't the place for you. There are 2 really nice beaches, but they are both a little way away by car.
Overall, a great holiday.

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Aysu with my 3 kids (aged 11, 10 and 7 years old), my sister, her hubby and little boy (16 months old), my brother and his wife, AND my parents. We arrived for half term from Saturday 27th October in the early hours around 4am. Our transfer from the airport had been booked in advance, and it was an hour and a half drive to the Villa, arrived tired out but eager to see what Villa Aysu had in store for us.
We weren't disappointed! Absolutely gorgeous place, it's huge, spacious, light filled and very airy. kitchen is grand, great size for our gang, open plan was very comfy and luxurious! We were impressed with the surroundings, the cleanliness, the quality of the appliances, the size of the fridge, the dishwhasher..everything was to satisfaction and beyond! & CLEAN!
The patio doors opened at 3 points onto the swimming pool/seating/bbq area, which overlooked the most breathtaking and awesome views I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing! Truly it was a feast for the eyes!! Upon arrival I spent a couple of hours on the roof terrace waching the sunrise and the arrival of dawn. Unforgettable!!
mornings spent on the terrraces, or sun loungers, sipping tea and having breakfast. Milk bread and basic sundries we had arranged for daily delivery of, for which we settled the bill at the end of the week. cleaners arrived every morning to remove rubbish, clean the pool, sweep and tidy up the property. Friendly & polite.
The kids had a great time in the private pool, secluded from surrounding areas, never felt intrusive or intruded upon, the area was quiet and peaceful and felt as if we were miles away from anywhere, but the local shops and restaurants were within walking distance or a cab. We went to Patara beach and loved it! Did the Thursday market for souvenirs! Had a bbq poolside. Ate @Cafe Vita, ordered in from there too! Mustafa was so friendly!
There is so much to say about Villa Aysu & Kalkan I could spend hours telling you but suffice to say, it was the best home from home holiday I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Enough space for all 11 of us! The owners have thought of everything for their visitors, things such as sun hats and beach bags, flip flops even!! There is plenty to do in Kalkan, or you can just choose to sit poolside, sipping drinks and relaxing and taking in the glorious 360degree views!! I can honestly say I had the time of my life and I am planning my next trip already!
thanks guys!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Aysu. The property was exactly as described. It's very helpful that it is managed by a local Kalkan company and they are a call away if something is required. We were worried that the sea might be too far and that there is only a paid beach club nearby, however it turned out that the free beach was even closer - about 5 minutes walk from the villa. We liked that there is a local phone line which we could use to call a taxi or in case of emergency. A bigger sized TV might be a good addition, but in reality we had no time to watch it.
Can highly recommend Kalkan and villa Aysu in particular!

A mouth dropping Wow was the first word from my wife on seeing Villa Aysu and the views we had waiting for us. This Villa is elegantly presented (but kid friendly) exactly how it shows it in the pics. The views are amazing so much so I spent 30 mins at least every morning in a trance staring over the bay, I miss this the most. The rooms were clean, fully loaded kitchen and utilities. Tom was very straight forward and professional when booking the villa, and also very helpful with information. Mngmnt team were gr8, they kept the place very clean, could do better to keep the patio clean of bird muck tho. It was comforting to have mngmnt team available in case anything went wrong and for local info. One night we needed the gas cylinder for the cooker changed, within 20 mins we had a new one. Only thing I moaned about was no aircon downstairs, but there are so many windows that its good to get fresh air in. We were only 2 people so we were spoilt with the space available, but even for 2 families the space would be more than enough. Hot water supply may need to be adjusted to provide for more than 2.Location is perfect, its tranquilly placed overlooking the bay, but only 20mins walk from town, so best of both.We were there off season so it was much more quieter than it maybe at peak times. Kalkan itself is a beautiful town with probably some of the best cusine I have tasted in Europe, with loads of amenities in such a small place. People are so friendly and helpful, not pressuring at all. There is lots to see and do, Saklikent is a must, Patara beach and ruins is good too.We will be visiting Kalkan again with family in toe hext time and if available stay at Aysu again. Thanks to Tom and mngmnt team for making this a dream holiday for us.

We have returned today from Villa Aysu.We were four adults(50+).Our holiday was excellent on many levels.Firstly the villa:all photos are accurate showing villa which is light, airy and very spacious.Rooms all have great views.Furniture is simple and stylish.Outside space is delightful, especially in the late afternoon and evening. The location is in an area of other villas, but privacy is fine. The walk into Kalkan from Aysu took us around 20 minutes downhill, coming back we used the excellent and well organised local taxis.Secondly, the owner and his local contacts are very easy to contact and work with. The airport transfer he arranged was particullarly good. Thirdly,Kalkan for us was something of a revelation. It is lively but laid back with just the right amount of buzz for us.The locals are humourous, friendly and extremley courteous. All in all we would recommend the villa and Kalkan to the groups indicated.

Spacy and well equipped villa with stunning views over Kalamar bay. Owner is very helpful and easy to get into contact with. The management is also very good. Neighboring houses are close, but there is still good privacy. We had a great holiday, two families including five kids 10-16 years old.

May 2009, Villa Aysu
We loved villa Aysu. It's spacious, spotlessly clean and has great views across the bay from almost every room. Lovely interior throughout and the seating area with comfy sofas by the pool is particularly nice. It’s a bit of a walk to the town (about 20 minutes) so hiring a car would be a good idea if you want to do a bit of exploring.
Kalkan is very pretty and offers a variety of things to do. We've managed to pack in paragliding, diving, canoeing and swimming with dolphins (in neighbouring Kas) in one week and certainly didn't feel like coming back to London. It’s a very friendly, beautiful place. The owner (Tom) was very helpful and easy to deal with.

Villa Aysu is spacious and clean, with fabulous views. We had 4 adults and 5 children in our party and had plenty of space and lots to do. The bedrooms are gorgeous and it felt very luxurious to lie in bed in the mornings and have those amazing views!! The huge loft room upstairs is a bonus for the children so they had plenty of space, as is the table tennis!! We walked into Kalkan and back with the children most days, where there are many excellent restaurants and everyone is so helpful, kind and friendly. A boat trip for the day is a must!!! We were lucky enough to see 2 dolphins in the sea!! We also did a jeep safari which enabled us to see a little more of Turkey, the highlight for the children was the mud bath!!! The Kalamar beach club is handy and the children loved all of the facilities there aswell as great snokelling to be done. The owners of villa Aysu couldn't have done more for us, they were easy to contact and gave lots of helpful advice. We would highly recommend it to anyone!!! Fab holiday!!!! Thank you!!!*****

Wonderful Mediterranean Retreat
Villa Aysu perches over a fantastic view of Kalamar Bay, is conveniently located to the charming seaside village of Kalkan but provides absolute peace and quiet, up the hill, at the end of the day. The owners were great to work with. The home has available help in town for any amenities or questions. And the property lives up to its photos with a high degree of quality and detail. I would highly recommend Villa Aysu for your stay in Kalkan. It made our trip.
