About this condo rental
Nestled in Mainz, this attractive condo for R 1,922 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Spend your vacation on the premises of a building whose origins date back to 1560. In 1671 the restaurant "Zum golden Engel" was mentioned for the first time and in this restaurant with its unique, listed wood paneling an exclusive holiday apartment was set up, which is only 100 meters from the Wallufer bathing beach. In 2017 the house was completely renovated, the technology is up to date. Installed in the counter there is a modern kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, extractor hood and all accessories to create a fancy menu. Enjoy the feeling of sitting in your private restaurant or relaxing with a book in the oversized reading chair. In the two meter wide bed you have plenty of space for your relaxation. We are happy to provide families with small children with a travel cot. A modern bathroom with a triangular tub and shower, and a separate toilet leave nothing to be desired. If you want to wash yourself, you have a washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. WLAN is of course in this 100 sqm luxury suite, as is a covered parking space for your car. There is a lockable courtyard for your bicycles.

Idyll am Rheinufer
Das historische Objekt ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, sauber und wunderbar ausgestattet. Im Vorhinein wussten wir, dass es keinen Balkon/Terasse gibt. Das war überhaupt kein Problem, da das wunderschöne Rheinufer direkt vor der Tür liegt. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Ausflugsziele und gemütliche Weinbars im Ort.

Ferienwohnung mit besonderem Ambiente
Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende in einer besonderen Wohnung in toller Lage direkt am Rhein und mit einem Weingarten direkt gegenüber. Die Bilder im Angebot sind authentisch, Einchecken war problemlos, in der Wohnung alles vorhanden, die Einrichtung überwältigend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine besondere Atmosphäre. Bei Austattung der Wohnung und der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt!
Wir haben uns in Walluf sehr wohl gefühlt, besonders gefallen haben uns die Weingärten. Bäcker und nette Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen.

Wunderschöner Ort zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben wunderbare Tage in diesem extraordinairen Domizil verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Beste Ausgangslage für das Glasl Wein am Abend irgendwo am Rhein, ebenso wie für Ausflüge in die Weinberge, mit dem Radl Richtung Wiesbaden, Rheingau oder den schönen Taunus. Es gab ein wenig Regen zum Glück, so dass wir auch in den Genuss kamen, das schöne Ambiente in der so geschmackvoll und originell restaurierten historischen Gaststube zu spüren - dickes Kompliment an Sven Fleck. Toll an diesem Tresen gut zu kochen, am schönen schweren Holztisch zu speisen, im X-large Sessel zu versinken, in der Eckbadewanne zu entspannen.... Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nun schon das zweite Mal im Schwan gewesen und genauso wohl gefühlt wie beim ersten Mal. Es fehlt einfach an nichts, in dieser geräumigen, stilvoll eingerichten und geschichtsträchtigen Location.

Kurze Auszeit in toller Wohnung und 1A-Lage
Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen.
Es ist alles da, was man benötigt, die Wohnung sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Direkt am Rhein gelegen, Gastronomie direkt vor der Tür und beste Lage für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge.

Ruimte!
Het appartement is zeer ruim. Aparte toilet en badkamer, het toilet is zelfs zo ruim dat de wasmachine en droger hier ook staan opgesteld. Ook de woonkamer, de oude gelagkamer, is zeer ruim evenals de slaapkamer. Nee, als het om ruimte gaat ben je hier aan het juiste adres. Verder was het merendeel wel aanwezig. Het enigste wat me miste waren bierglazen en een waterkoker. Een magnetron was ook wel handig maar niet strikt noodzakelijk.

Sehr gute Lage
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Gleich gegenbüber befinden sich zwei Weinstände und in 400 Metern noch ein dritter. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr geräumig und komplett ausgestattet, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Im Küchenbereich könnte etwas mehr Beleuchtung sein. Wer auch andere Sender außer die Öffentlich-Rechtlichen schauen möchte, sollte seinen eigenen Amazon-Account mitbringen. Der zur Wohnung gehörende Parkplatz liegt im Hinterhof und ist nur über eine ziemlich enge Zufahrt zu erreichen.

Tolles Ambiente
Große, saubere, vollständig ausgestattete FeWo. Das Ambiente des alten Gasthauses hat uns gut gefallen. Netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter bei An- und Abreise. PKW-Stellplatz am Haus, etwas enge Zufahrt für große Autos. Wir planen, wieder hierher zu kommen.

Urlaub im Rheingau in Walluf
Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in Walluf direkt am Rhein.
In der Nähe findet man zahlreiche Restaurants wo man vorzüglich speisen kann. Gut ist Bonnets Weinkabinett in Walluf,
zu moderaten Preisen.
Auch das Gelbe Haus in Eltville ist einen
Besuch wert.
Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist groß und sehr bequem eingerichtet . Es ist alle zu finden was man so braucht, nur die Espresso Tassen habe ich vermisst.
Leider war die Sauberkeit nicht zufriedenstellend, Staub und Spinnweben in allen Ecken, Fenster ewig nicht geputzt usw.
Mach einer gründlichen Reinigung des Objekts ist die Wohnung jedoch empfehlenswert , ich würde sie wieder buchen.

Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Man hat sehr viel Platz, sich auszubreiten. Das seit Jahrhunderten bestehende Gebäude mit seiner Geschichte macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem. Hoffentlich gelingt es.,dieses Kleinod noch lange zu erhalten.

da wir das ehemalige restaurant alter schwan von früher kannten, waren wir nicht sehr überrascht. doch in diesem ambiente zu wohnen hat unsere erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen - ein zuhause am rhein. wir planen schon für nächstes jahr :)

Amazing Vacation Apartment with Historic Charm
We loved staying at the historic Hotel Schwan for our recent vacation in the Rheingau region of Germany. The apartment was fully furnished with everything we needed for our stay. When you enter the apartment, you feel as if you are stepping back in time with the historic wood paneling. The intricate carvings and detail of the woodwork are captivating. Even though the woodwork is historic, the apartment has been updated with modern kitchen and appliances, wifi, air conditioning and updated bathrooms. The large soaking tub is perfect after a long day of hiking. Sven was an exceptional host making sure everything was perfect upon our arrival, helping us with some site-seeing plans and providing off-street parking for our car. The location of Hotel Schwan is perfect for spending time in the Rheingau region. Across the street are several wine gardens with delicious wine and a few meters further is the beautiful Rhein river. We hiked along the tow path to Eltville and enjoyed a day exploring the city and castle. A short ride to Rudesheim and we were able to take the cable car up to the Germania monument and hike through the Niederwald. There are numerous wineries and vineyard to explore and we enjoyed being there for freshly produced Federweisser. The location is also perfect for day trips to Wiesbaden, Frankfurt or Heidelberg. We plan to return to the Hotel Schwan for our next visit to the Rheingau region.

Charmant ungewöhnlich
Zugegeben, wir hatten diese Ferienwohnung nur deshalb gebucht, weil das Angebot an freien Unterkünften im September doch sehr begrenzt war. Die Wohnung lag zudem über dem von uns ursprünglich vorgesehen Etat.
Und nun sind wir schlicht weg begeistert !
Wir empfehlen die Wohnung jedem Gast, der etwas so charmant Ungewöhnliches zu genießen weiß und mal das Besondere sucht.
Für uns ist die Wohnung eine gelungene Komposition aus Alt (teils denkmalgeschützes Interieur) und Moderne. Der Gastgeber hat zudem alles ins Detail verliebt geplant, so dass es auch wirklich an nichts zu fehlen scheint in dieser Wohnung. Die Ausstattung erscheint uns stimmig und drückt Behaglichkeit aus. Wir haben uns hier eine Woche lang sehr wohl gefühlt. Weitere Higlights: Die direkte Nähe zum Rheinufer und nette, gute Lokalitäten. Unser Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen und ihren Preis wert.

Un cadre très original tout près du puissant fleuve
Très grand appartement aux proportions agréables et à la décoration authentique et très boisée. Tout le confort moderne pour cuisiner et recevoir aussi bien que traîner et contempler le fleuve. La gare est à deux pas pour visiter Wiesbaden et Francfort. Charmants villages, promenades et multiples terrasses pour apprécier les vins locaux. Grand calme.
