The cottage is located inside a private terrain, within a few steps from it you can reach the lake. This is perfect for people that want a quiet stay away from noise and tourism. The host was super sweet and kind, she handed over the keys to us and gave us a tour around the place. The cottage had plenty of space for us and we felt very comfortable. The location is beautiful, very close to Colonia Suiza, and some Kms away from the city center.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the breakfast. Every morning the host brings in a basket with freshly baked bread and scones, some fruit, coffee, milk and spreads. This is a super sweet approach to it, but more than once we felt a bit short.

Our cabana was beautiful, spacious and full of light with great views on the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was very tasty. Mercedes brought it to the cabana every morning. In the evenings rabbits came to the yard in front of the cabana. The place itself is very calm and charming yet it's a walking distance along the coast to the Colonia Suiza where you can find restaurants, local shops and playground. We spent the great time there. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Thank you!;)
